Autisitc Giants and Tinies!!!!!!

As and Autsitic person i think the concept of tinies and giants that are autistic is neat!

Autistic Tinys:

Who have hyper sentive hearing so the giant has to be extra quiet to not overstimulate them or hypo sentive hearing tinys who where the giants voice doesnt bother them unlike other people and even likes the vibrations they feel when the giant talks

Who hang out on their giant friends shoulder so they can infodump to them in their ear

Who stim but playing with the giants hair or even in/with the giants hands/fingers

That are non-speaking who have a giant translator (litterally) or even use a AAC device that set to be loud enough for the giant to hear

That when having a meltdown the giants makes sure they're safe and not hurting themselves (while also giving them space)

That will uses the giants hands as a pressure blanket or even to cover them so they can sit the dark

Tinys who have a better time reading their giant friends then others because they can see their giant friends facial experssions better because of how big they are

Who have trouble with controling their volume but the giant doesnt mind cause it just means they can hear them better

Autistic Giants:

That have hypersentive hearing that can pick up the tinys voice more then others and even hear the borrorws in the walls that no one else can

That talk naturally quiets so doesnt have to mask their voice with their tiny friend or has a harder time controling their voice volume and accicently keeps getting to loud and feeling bad about it

That will GENTLE (and with consent) stim with their tiny friends as a figit

Who infodumps to the tiny while holding them

That is non-speaking who now has a tiny translator and if has a AAC device puts it really quietly for the tiny

Who has shut downs and the tiny finds their safe food for them

Who has meltdowns and the tiny tries to help with alot a space between them and struggles how but does their best

Who has a harder time reading social cues cus their tinys friends face is so small

Who has hyper empathy so realizes the tinys feelings quicker then the tiny expacted

Autistic Sizeshifter:

Who turn small during shutdowns but grow during meltdowns

That grow or shrink as a stim or to do surtain stims

That will grow while infodumping by accident because they're so happy or shrink to play with figures of there special interest

if anyone thinks of more id loved to hear them but this is all i can think of right now (and i kept out some of the angst ideas)

Turning Giant Panic

So we all know the scenes where a character turns into a giant and the freaks out. Usaully theres a part where the turning giant reachs out for help only to retrack because they realize how much bigger their hand/they are now. Usually when a person panics they arent thinking straight. Give me a person who is turning giant who is panic so badly that even tho they are so much bigger now the still reach out for someone anyone to help them.

Imagine them grabbing their friend/loved one even tho they're so small now and BEGGING them to do something anything to make it stop or to explain whats happening to them. The helplessness of both the turning giant not knowing what to do and not realizing how badly they are freaking everyone else out and the friend/loved one who cant do anything about what is happening to their now giant friend and is now freaking out to

Oh the Angst

giants experiencing sudden and massive growth flare ups inside a room of people is my jam.....the panic, not just from the crowd of people fleeing for their lives, but from the giant, who just went from sitting at their desk to finding the crushed pieces of their chair under their palm. they go from confused or dizzy to terrified because oh my god, what if i killed somebody, what if someone is hurt, did everyone get out, oh my god did- and then their friend or lover bursts into the room, panting from having fought the throng fleeing in the opposite direction and jesus, massive doesn’t even begin to describe this sight. bent in the most uncomfortable position, hands pressed against their stomach, elbows pulled in to their sides, toes pressing up against the far wall, eyes tearful, head ducked as far as possible but still cracking the ceiling, bits of tile falling to the ground and the remaining furniture either pushed against the walls or crushed under the weight of their growing form. the giant begs them to leave, it’s not safe here, what if i hurt you, I can’t slow it down any more than this, please just run. but they don’t listen, setting their hands on the giant leg before them. the giant shivers because holy shit their hands are so tiny, no, no, no- another growth flare shudders through them and the tiny launches themselves onto this giant leg, only to put themselves in the direct line of falling ceiling tile. in horror, they watch the tile fall in slow motion, only for a giagantic hand to smack it away, smashing it against the floor. the giant cups their hand around their now absolutely minuscule friend/lover and shakily brings them to their chest, where their hammering heart and short breath makes it difficult to hear anything else, eyes overspilling with bucket sized tears. i’m sorry, i’m so sorry. are you hurt? did i hit you? are you okay? acting quickly, the tiny begins to talk to the giant, telling them not to focus on this new size but the sound of their voice, and as they ramble, the quantity of tiles smashing to the ground drops to none, the furniture stops splintering between the wall and their back, the growth of their body around their precious friend/lover lessens, until the room is stagnant. the two of them let out a sigh of relief, but they both know stopping the growth was only half the battle.

Gradual Growing/shrinking

I very much love rapid growing/shrinking moments alot but we dont appericate the concept of gradual as much as we should.

I love the fear of rapid growing/shrinking and the shock and confusing of having to adjust but with rapid the person knows offically when its stopped (at least for the time)

with Gradual its less shocking but there's more uncertainty because if they keep waking up very day with more/less inches/feet at first itll be unnoticable and a bit weird but after they figure it out theres this dread of never knowing when its going to stop.

Will they shrink to the size of an ant or grow to the size of a building or worse? will it ever even stop at all?!

Small children held by giant parent for comfort, big children holding small parent for comfort

Trying to plan outings/vacations when your whole family is 6" tall or shorter

Trying to plan outings/vacations when your whole family is 15' or taller

Imagine going on a road trip with a car full of borrowers

Kid wants to go to bed with tiny parents, it ends with kid taking their small parents to bed

Kid wants to go to bed with big parents, their giant parents carefully set them up in their bed

Giant kid wants to sleep in the bed with the tall/small couple, uhh...

Tiny kid wants to be in bed with tall/small couple, uhh...

Size shifter kid wants in their bed, how to explain to a six year old that they change A LOT in their sleep and that it's not safe...

Wrapping Christmas presents, [small] has disappeared, hearing a tiny muffled voice, Christmas comes very early as they carefully unwrap everything to find them

Giant parent makes HUGE pillow fort for their kids, they live there now, they refuse to leave

small kid, to big parent(s): Will I get that big when I'm older? Uhh...

big kid, to small parent(s): Are you small cause you didn't drink your milk? Uhh...

Or size differences being completely normalized and kids don't really notice, both is good

Kids are mean to them and they tell their parents, what the other kids didn't know is that their parent is 60 FEET TALL, THEY'LL NEVER BE PICKED ON AGAIN (the giant doesn't even do anything, their mere presence is enough to make them leave their kid alone, which is great! The baby's safe 💕)

Oh man, it can be any combo of sizes, and imagine all the funny hijinks and adorable house set ups to accommodate for the various sizes, just so much potential for domestic G/t, I NEED MORE

ADD MORE IDEAS IF YOU HAVE THEM, I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED

(And I know it's not biologically possible, BUT I CAN DREAM HAROLD, IT'S MY FANTASY AND I WANT FAMILIES OF EXTREME HEIGHT DIFFERENCES)

see the thing is if the scenario is specifically a “tiny” tiny, and a “big” that is contextually normal-sized (ie human finds fairy) then you get the gift of the tiny being afraid, and the human experiencing pure wonder at finding them. There’s some work that the human has to do to convince the tiny they aren’t in danger, but it’s mostly them containing their excitement and curiosity for the benefit of the very small being they just found.

But if the scenario is a regular sized tiny, and a giant that is contextually BIG in their world, then not only do you have the tiny one being afraid and freaking out, but the big one ALSO afraid and freaking out because they know they’re the outlier, they know they’re making the human feel small and helpless and there’s no context where they can exist without being scary or overwhelming to regular people, one way or another. Gt with a contextually-small tiny is soft and comforting and wonderous but Gt with a contextually-big giant just goes that extra step with the fearplay. Don’t even GET me started if the big wasn’t always big, and is transformed in front of their friend/s to the horror of everyone involved
