i just finished reading Jane Eyre !!

i really really loved it; it’s such a charming little tale with words that describe emotions, love and scenery so well. What makes it even better is that my copy was thrifted; it’s an older edition and it’s annotated-something I find really charming in thrifted books. I love love loveddd reading it :3 !!

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.

if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

i love loving women 🫶🏽

My favorite part about being sapphic is when the things I love about other women become things I love about myself. One day I was tracing another woman’s stretch marks in a dim bedroom light. And then, seemingly by accident, I was doing it to myself in my bathroom mirror. I loved the feeling of a full hand of flesh when I grabbed a woman’s hips, and then mine didn’t need to be so skinny anymore. I looked at a woman’s lower stomach pudge and thought it was so soft and cute, then never wanted a flat stomach again. Loving women can be so healing when you come from a world that doesn’t.

I call her my moon but she is the sun and the stars. i am just the moon reflecting off her, cherishing and adores her light.

cosmos of a thousand stars I found the one I met in my dreams. who said she'd meet me between the sky and sea.

she was like a golden light, the warmth of the sun as it soaks into your skin. that bright spark of kindness on a lone wildflower to bloom.

she's a light so rare a comfort in fear, that glimmer spark of hope. my golden flame under the same sky I'll follow you through any cloud.
