If someone tells you that you will only be happy if you change yourself for someone else, DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!! Your happiness starts with you! Don't change for others, change for yourself! I hate it when others try to force makeup or clothes that feel uncomfortable on me, I hate it when others try to change something about me. I should change for myself, I should just improve myself to feel better, not to make other people like me!

Beauty standards are a danger, they only serve to give women insecurities about themselves and create unnecessary competition between them! EVERY WOMAN IS BEAUTIFUL! It doesn't matter your color, it doesn't matter your height, it doesn't matter your body, if someone doesn't love you for who you are inside and just for your appearance, don't feel bad, because that person is no good!

No one should love you for who you are on the outside, but for who you are on the inside, or even better, for both! You can be physically attractive and be a decent person, just as you can be physically "unattractive" and still be a decent person who deserves love!

How beautiful you are doesn't matter if you're not a decent person, no one loves a bitter, envious, cruel, untrustworthy person. A person's character is worth more than their appearance.

I don't care if you are rude or ugly, your character is what I will judge you by. Are you a decent human being or someone who is willing to throw someone away when given the chance?

Be happy for who you are, reflect on what you want to be, are you a person with flaws? physical or emotional? So improve yourself! but not for others, but for you.

yesterday I remembered a fan song about the Sun and Moon show(Never Apart), the lyrics for some reason made me think of Clay and Floyd, one thought led to another and now I have a... terrible idea.😈

Clay and Floyd, after leaving the band, travel through the troll kingdom until they find Volcano Rock City, there they are found by Barb's mother (yes, I still want to use her as an antagonist in EVERYTHING!) she ends up getting involved with them and taking them under her wing, she practically treats Clay and Floyd like they wanted to be treated by JD and Clay is taken more seriously, becoming more attached to her. let's say that she practically raises them to be rock trolls, even brainwashing them with attention, "affection", and a home that respects them and treats them like family, and they are not forced to be perfect. Clay ends up becoming her favorite because he becomes devoted to her, seeing her as a mother he never learned to have (their parents abandoned them shortly after having Branch's egg), while Floyd ended up not being completely converted as her "kid", seeing behind the mask that she doesn't really care about them and has secondary plans, but Clay is blinded by the attention he receives and doesn't listen to him, after all, he's the smart one (and older), he should listen to him, he knows everything and Floyd knows nothing. Floyd may not be smarter (some would consider him "dumb"), but he still has a heart, and it's his love for his brother that keeps them never apart.

You know what? I think I'll change the name of my Trolls AU to Never Apart AU, since at least that makes more sense than "Bluer Skies". The original title will be the same, but only in relation to the events of the first film.

In case you noticed in my fic (chapter 4), Viva quickly loses her colors but quickly recovers them. I kind of thought of an explanation for this, and with that a headcanon that explains Branch's color inconsistency in the films.

So, when a troll goes through something that makes them feel depressed (like losing a loved one) they may lose their color (which would symbolize their hope and happiness), but the colors may come back when they feel happier.

But that won't make them colorful all the time, depending on their level of happiness and depression they will be more gray or more in color.

There are two situations in which this happens, the troll can lose their colors completely, becoming gray, but this does not mean that this is permanent, on the contrary, they can recover their color when they pretend to be happy, becoming "color shifters".

The second situation is exactly what I said, and it's exactly what Viva does in my AU, she maintains her color for her people, a troll without color is unusual and for many unacceptable, and as queen she does everything to keep her color, and only lose them when she remembers the loss of her father and the pain she still feels.

As a result, they don't "cure" themselves by finding something that makes them "happier", they still feel emotional pain and constantly lose their colors, but they don't lose their colors forever, instead their colors become more desaturated.

This was a quick explanation of how colors represent depression in Trolls, you can use this as an interpretation of how Branch recovers his colors but keeps changing colors during the films depending on how he feels, and as a narrative explanation for the desaturation of Alive.
