SAVE A GIRLS SERVICE DOG
SAVE A GIRLS SERVICE DOG

(The gif is just a placeholder until I figure out how the hecks to get the photo of makana's dog out of the gofundme, cause if you don't have photos it's not eye-catching and thats. Very counterintuitive.)

I know this is a little bit out of the ordinary for me, but this is serious. An online friend of mine, Makana, needs help paying for a lawyer to keep her service dog. She has severe mental health complications that would make it extremely difficult for her to function without Buddy, who she's had for over 5 years now. She's currently preparing for a nasty court case between her and her mother over the custody of Buddy. (See site for more details) Anything you give goes towards her lawyer. If you can donate any margin of money, whether that be 20 dollars or just mere cents, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't donate, it's fine, that's okay, but PLEASE reblog for reach, or make your own post if you must. I don't care what you do, as long as it's something.

There is this thought that business owners have the right to refuse service to anybody. But that’s not true.
If you won’t serve someone BECAUSE they have a service dog with them, that is against the law. Completely and totally illegal. This is because you are refusing access to someone because OF THEIR DISABILITY. This person would not need a service dog if not disabled and therefore is being DISCRIMINATED AGAINST solely because of their disability ( and there need to have a service dog with them).
There are laws. Anywhere the public is allowed, a person can bring a service dog. If your business allows the public inside then you cannot refuse entry to a service dog team based on “this is private property” because it’s not.
You can ask two questions:
1. Is this dog a service dog?
2. What tasks has it been trained to perform?
You are allowed to kick out a service dog team ONLY if they are not under control of the handler. This means using the bathroom inside, barking, lunging and growling. If a service dog is perfectly (or almost perfectly) behaved, then you have NO RIGHT to kick out the team.
Every employee should have training on service dogs and it’s unacceptable they don’t. Please don’t be a jerk and discriminate against someone who is disabled. Not only is it very illegal, it’s also a really crappy thing to do as a human being.
(Also ESA’s, Emotional Support Animals, have no rights to enter public areas unless ALL dogs are allowed)
This has been a PSA.
I don't know what "True Crime" really is or what it is as a Podcast genre (I don't listen to podcasts). But I have always been into crime, horror, gore, mystery, etc. genre. Whether it be based on real events, speaking about real events, or fictional. I believe that this has probably taken my hereditary paranoia (my dad, my paternal grandparents, my maternal uncle, etc. all have rather extreme paranoia) and made it worse. I accidentally watched a video about how white females take safety in "True Crime" due to how it often revolves around white female victims. I have had this interest since I was 5 and watched NCIS autopsy scene without any of the adults noticing in the living room. Does "True Crime" really a part of my interests? I look it up but it only gives me basic info that really doesn't tell me much about cultural applications. What is it really about.

Who else is disappointed by the Rhea Island/ending of Frontiers a bit. All of this buildup with Cyber Corruption and he just kinda. goes into a frozen state like an 06 load screen? Somehow his friends know how to save him without any clues? The robots respawned suddenly? No one talks about a young girl dying? Supreme boss fight was a let down as well. My brother played the whole game within 3 days and found that the Supreme just sort of. to put it bluntly. sucked.
I liked the voice acting and the lore building, the open world seemed a bit...too open? if that makes sense (i still believe playable hub worlds like Adventure1 should be back), but I found it fine. I had fun. But the ending sort of felt like they blew through their money and time before Sega enforced the deadline on them. It's hard to explain, as I have forgotten mostly everything past Knuckles' island and parts of Tails' (forgive me. I was having a very stressful week).
I hope that any DLCs that come out can give the game plenty of replayability and perhaps give us more characters to play as (I really want to play as Amy again, i loved her hammer vault)
I have read people complaining about the villain designs in My Adventures with Superman and getting mad that they are all now tech based or "too pretty" or whatever. I think they may be missing the point. This is their villain origin stories. Livewire is implied to be getting her powers and mutating into the blue haired electric fiend we love as well as Silver Banshee perhaps getting real powers of her own down the line. Slade hasn't fallen from grace as Black Ops to pull himself back up as an unstoppable mercenary yet (and I think the comparisons to Dick Grayson adds on even more complications to his weird rivalry with Nightwing). We aren't that far into the series, and we haven't seen very much of these characters yet, this is the beginning of Superman's era in this world.
What truly marks the difference between a Dutch Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois? I hear people who claim there are distinct personality/temperament differences and others who claim there is no differences whatsoever. I know Dutch Shepherds are generally brindle and have three coat types and Malinois normally have one coat type but many more colour options. Is there actually anything that sets them apart?
