Another year ends and Stiles is alive once again. It’s weird huh. He is grateful that he is alive and all he wants for next year is for him and his loved ones to stay alive as well. The perks of living in a supernatural town. Your priorities change.

I’m New Year’s Eve Stiles comes back home from the FBI training to spend it with his dad and the pack. He is very happy to see everyone. Scott imformes him that tonight they are all going to go an celebrate at Sinnema.

It may be stupid, but the idea of going to a club to dance and spend time with his friends appeals to Stiles very much. It surely is because when they were teenagers they didn’t do things like that. They chased supernatural creatures that wanted to kill people and create chaos.

Stiles arrived to the club and they were all waiting for him. Scott, Malia, Lydia, Liam, Mason, Corey and Theo. Stiles is surprised to see Theo there. If you look from a distance you just see a group of friends ready to party. You will probably never guess that one of them tried to kill and destroy the rest.

Scott assured that Theo was changing. Stiles is not convinced though, he will keep and eye on the Chimera to see how he acts.

They proceed to go to the club and everything is full of confetti and lights, the music is so loud it hurts your ears. Everyone stars to dance, party and drink. Deaton has told them that asmall quantity of wolfsbane can make the werewolfs drunk. And they sure are enjoying the experience.

Stiles is a little tipsy himself. But he doesn’t wanna get drunk. He wants to remember this little moments.

While stiles is leaning on the wall someone speaks in his ear “Are you ok? You seem too serious to be at a party?” The someone is Theo, who looks at him playfully with a smirk on his face.

“You’re here right? I have to be alert in case you decide to fullfil your plan on destroying the pack” Stiles said in a low voice, knowing that Theo can hear him.

“Stiles I’m not going to hurt anyone, I’m trying to change my ways. I’m not going to be a goodie goodie like Scott, but you better that anyone should know that having someone like me in the pack is... let’s just say... useful.” Theo said getting closer to Stiles.

Stiles has to admit that is true. Scott wants to save everyone and is the right thing to do. But sometimes the pack is going to need someone to do the dirty work. Theo is the perfect candidate.

“I really want to belong Stiles, I’m tired to be alone. May be I can be a pack animal after all.” Theo murmured to Stiles.

Stiles looked at him in the eyes. They seem sincere. But Stikes has been tricked by those beautiful eyes before. ‘Trick me once shame on you, trick me twice shame on me’ Stiles mind repeated.

Midnight was getting closer Stiles went to get with the rest of the pack to dance some more. But when he separated from the wall that he had been using to hold his weight, he almost fell on the floor. Lucky for him Theo managed to catch him.

“Woah there Stiles, you didn’t look that drunk” Theo said while helping him up.

“I’m not, I guess I’m still clumsy...” Stiles responded. “I think I’m going to take some air” Stiles said gesturing with his hand that the room was really warm. Theo nodded and took Stiles’s hand pulling him towards the exit door.

When Theo took Stiles’s hand Stiles felt a spark. ‘Huh, I guess werewolfs still get static electricity’ Stiles tought to himself.

Once outside they seat on the pavement. “Do you want me to call Lydia?” Theo asked with a worried face.

“Lydia? Why would you call Lydia?” Stiles asked in a surprised tone.

“You guys are dating right?” Theo responded. “You didn’t dance much with her, but I guessed it’s because you don’t want to make everyone else uncomfortable” Theo added to the previous answer.

“Oh... no... we’re are not together anymore...” Stiles said looking at his hands. It had been painful when they broke up. They discovered that they loved each other, but their love was more platonical. When they kissed there was no passion there. Stiles wanted passion, he wanted fireworks.

“Oh... well I’m sorry...” Theo said uncomfortably. “It must have been hard, you’ve had a crush on her since forever” Theo looked at him with an indescriptible look in his eyes.

“Yeah well, not that you will know... since you have never been in love.” Stiles said trying to change the topic and stop talking about him.

“Wrong, I have graduated in long unrequited crushes just like you” Theo said looking at the Sky. Stiles looked too. There were many stars tonight, it looked beautiful.

“You can’t be serious, did you fall in love with someone the dread doctors captured too?” Stiles asked. He has a curious nature, you can’t blame him.

Theo struggled next to him, he seemed a little bit uncomfortable. Oh Stiles was going to push to know. ‘This is good for the pack’ Stiles thought, this way I can see if Theo has really change.

“No... I had a crush before leaving Beacon hills. He was a friend of mine back then.” Theo responded, still looking at the sky.

Stiles stopped to think about what Theo said. Before leaving Beacon Hills he didn’t have many friends...

“OMG! Scott!?!?” Stiles screamed and grabbed Theo’s arm.

“What!?” Theo asked starlet.

“Your crush!!” Stiles insisted

“No! You idiot, Why would you think that!?” Theo asked with a horrified face.

“Because you were friends! He was nice to you, I can see little Theo crushing on Scott” Stiles responded.

“No, no, I didn’t like Scott that way. My crush was a trouble maker. I loved that about him. He was considered to be annoying, but I loved his curious nature. He was loyal and he always protected his loved ones. He was a total Prince Charming in my eyes.” Theo said this time looking at Stiles in the eyes.

Stiles heart started beating fast. Stiles really looked at Theo. Stiles couldn’t deny that he was breathtaking handsome. And right now he looked serious but nervous. The bad boy attitude he always wore like a second skin gone. This was the real Theo. The Theo he once knew.

Stikes doesn’t remember how long they stood there on the pavement looking at each other, but then a loud boom woke them up from their bubble.

“Fireworks” Stiles said looking around. You could hear the people inside the club screaming so loud.

“It seemes we missed midnight, we should go inside and join the rest.” Theo said standing up and offering his hand to help Stiles.

Stikes took the hand and again a spark lighted his body. Theo started to pull both of them towards the door to enter the club but Stiles pulled back.Theo looked at Stiles with confusion.

If you ask Stikes he will tell you that he acted on automatic, he doesn’t remember why he did it or what was he thinking, but he grabbed Theo’s face and kissed him.

Theo made a surprised noise but he joined the kiss. He embraced Stiles putting their bodies close. And they stood there kissing each other with fireworks on the background.

When they broke the kiss Theo smiled at Stiles. “New Years kiss huh?” Theo asked a smirk on this face.

“It’s tradition. You just grabb the first person you see” Stiles said waving his hand and going towards the door.

“Well lucky me I happened to be with you then” Theo said catching up to him at the door.

“Yeah I guess you were” Stiles said in a softly voice. “Come on let’s go look for the rest of the pack” Stiles said being the one this time to take Theo’s hand and squeezing it.

Stiles has a good feeling about this new year.

Actually, I think Theo as a villain would be Neutral Evil, and then when he becomes a better person his alingment would change to True Neutral.

... the Dread Doctors said he’s “the perfect evil” or whatever. So, it’s all very all over the place. // From what I remember the Dread Doctors said that Theo was a failure at being "the perfect evil", they even came to the conclusion that the only way to create that was by corrupting something "truly good" because Theo didn't work. So Theo wasn't really truly evil, but he wasn't actually good either even as a child.

Ok, so… I went back to the transcript and it’s… confusing me. 

SURGEON: But your failure taught us one thing.The banality of evil.That you were and would always be an ordinary evil. 

THEO: You think I’m ordinary? 

SURGEON: We believed that to resurrect the perfect killer we had to start with the perfect evil.From you we learned true evil only comes by corrupting something truly good.

So, they thought Theo was the perfect evil but he ended up being ordinary evil (whatever the fluff that’s supposed to mean)? And is…. true evil something entirely different? It probably isn’t but why do they have to tape three different adjectives to the word evil???? Is the perfect evil ordinary but it’s not true? Is true and perfect interchangeable? Is it “a little evil”, “very evil” and “Umbridge levels of evil?” How am I supposed to read this? And why am I even trying? lol

Are there also ordinary alphas, perfect alphas and true alphas? This has nothing to do with the topic but my brain went there. I’m sorry. 

Stiles gets it. He’s single, his dad is working and Lydia is out of town with her mother - who better to go on a stakeout on New Year’s Eve than him? Scott wants to celebrate with Kira, all romantic and shit, and Liam is going to a party with Hayden, Mason, and Corey. There’s not really anybody else left who’d bother with a chore like that. 

Well, nobody aside from Theo who is just as fucked and lonely as Stiles.

It’s not exactly how he imagined his evening to turn out. Going into the new year with Theo next to him, sitting in his car in the middle of the woods until Scott relieves them in the early morning hasn’t been on his mind. Then again, it’s probably still better than being by himself on a day like this. 

Theo, to his surprise, comes prepared with fireworks and vodka. He calls it a peace offering. Stiles doesn’t trust any of it, but when the night grows older and nothing at all is happening, he accepts his fate. Before he knows it, the night takes yet another unexpected turn. He probably should’ve anticipated something like that since Theo isn’t particularly subtle, and Stiles’ resistance has been dwindling in the last few weeks - since the day Theo almost kissed him during yet another stakeout the two suffered through together to be exact. 

I know what you mean, I always make sure to get a perfect Destroy ending so that my Shepard survives. I have never chosen any other ending.

I think the thing that bugs me most about anything but a perfect Destroy ending is that Shepard is revived only to die again. And I just, really think that’s so horrible. Shepard deserves better.
