He died singing, he knew there was no other way and he accepted it. Why did you make me see it? Why turn a funny moment into a goodbye?

And Shepard doesn't cry for it but she seems so worried about fucking Kaidan. I don't care about the biotic emo, I care about the best doctor/singer and you didn't let my character mourn him.

So, we all assume EDI is destroyed in the Destroy ending, but why do we assume that? Because the starchild says so? Because we don't see her humanoid platform?

May I remind you that when Jeff unshackled her, she, in essence, became the Normandy. The Normandy doesn't get destroyed in that ending. It is stated in-game (in Mass Effect 2, iirc) that they are no longer two separate entities.

I propose this idea: the "bodies" of synthetics absolutely get destroyed, but if they have a platform they can upload into to store themselves, they won't be completely erased. The Geth have Geth Hubs, EDI has the Normandy, and the Reapers have nothing. The failure of the Reapers was their refusal to create a system to upload their collective consciousnesses into.

EDI and the Geth are fine, everyone! Feel free to pick the destroy ending with no guilt!

I don't think killing Reaper troops during a time of war is a crime per say.

I Don't Think Killing Reaper Troops During A Time Of War Is A Crime Per Say.

Killing heretics who fallen to chaos for the glory The Emperor? No that's not a crime.

I Don't Think Killing Reaper Troops During A Time Of War Is A Crime Per Say.

Killing criminals who are running rampant through the streets of Detroit? No that's just upholding the law.

I Don't Think Killing Reaper Troops During A Time Of War Is A Crime Per Say.

Oh I did enter into a Dragons Manor and kill him. I suppose that's a crime.

What if they had to do paperwork?

(Unlike the other comics this doesn't actually happen in any of the games I'm just a fan of how dumb they all are)

Something something about my Shepard who was raised on earth surrounded by death, who joined the military, who died only to be resurrected to die again. Something about falling in love with an assassin who was terminally ill who didn’t die from his illness but from a sword through the chest. Something about being an orphan, being in grief, being surrounded by war, and accidentally falling in love with a specialist who hasn’t given up yet, who wants to build a future. Something about being surrounded by death every minute and every day, being a murderer and being a soldier and being a survivor. And choosing life.
