I Dunno What/if There Is An Equivalent In Tau Years But Alvah Is About The Equivalent Of An 18-19 Year

I dunno what/if there is an equivalent in “T’au years” but Al’vah is about the equivalent of an 18-19 year old human ^^

The tau post was just so I could post some oc stuff =w=

Everyone meet Solomon Silverworth and his child friend travel buddy tau ‘associate’ Al’vah.

They’re a pretty simple duo and I only have so much lore on them settled rn but gehehehehe I lurv them

Their story is pretty early but basically what happened is Silverworth, a member of the Ordo Xenos the irony I know, is doing his work. Taking and cleansing a Xenos ship trespassing imperial airspace and not heeding his warnings. Upon their mission however he begins to realize this ship has various civilians in it, his own moral code and tragic past catch up with him and he is starting to have a breakdown when- gasp?! One of the few tau left get into a fist fight with one of his soldiers giving Silverworth a chance to rectify this even if only a little.

So he saves Al’vah from the soldier and in that moment decides “huh….new child” bc old man is a big old baby and misses his wife and kids very very very much pls pls pls god emperor he misses them— and needs something to keep his mind off that void.

So new child acquired :3 wdym he can’t love a xenos like his own child? You get a divine smite from the gauntlet and a firm talking to.

I love them so fucking much…

Do you think Nurgle would try to tempt Ock by bring back Cream (albeit zombified)

Oooh!! Oh without a doubt, Ock’s sheer love for his little squeakers certainly surpasses any level of rational thought or imperial choke hold

Tbh, This is a really fun ask too bc nurgle is honestly the most likely of the chaos gods to be able to have a shot of tempting ock (to Tzeentch and khorne’s combined anguish) for more then one reason without too much chaos arm twisting (also I love this idea a lot actually!!! Hehehehehe ty for the opportunity to yap about it)

As it stands Ock’s a little guy who definitely knows, even if very vaguely, what a family felt like once and BOY does he want it back really really bad. To the point where he clings to just about anyone who can even begin to provide that same sensation even if only for a little.

The various soldiers and characters crossing his path on his inquisitor’s ship when showing even a shred of human decency find a little Psyker tailing them (to various degrees of sneaky depending on their duties & how comfortable they make ock’s little anxious self), aiding them in their duties and all and all being a little clingy fella during their time on the ship.

This behavior tends to be exponentially greater than it might be due to the two factors of his once father figure William no longer being in commission as such (servitorfication sadge) and the fact Huntsmann can be kind of iffy with new people interacting with ock & is very inconsistent with this. One moment he’s cut ock off from all contact but himself, his AdMech husband & the husk of a psyker will, the next he couldn’t care less who ock fraternizes with as long as the inquisitor can focus on his duties at hand (normally in times of high stress ock gets this freedom). Thus typically leaving ock very affection & touch starved so he books it to find a guardsman lurking around to make friends with in the few moments he is allowed to do so.

All this to say, ock is in a desperate hankering for some familial bonds. His rodent buddies are the closest thing he has to any sort of ‘stable’ relationships that don’t end in him being hurt, punished, or tossed aside due to his Psyker status and one of his only sources of unconditional love.

So definitely imagine the agony of loosing one of your family members to someone carelessly (very cruelly & unceremoniously so at that) taking that life from you because they thought it lesser.

Naturally as well, imagine your elation at the promise of not only that family member back in (mostly) working order but the promise of an even larger unconditionally loving family!

Ock would definitely be at the Nurgle garden family BBQ at that point lol

Out of my warhammer ocs it’s between ock and Galileo, they’re so very fun to doodle for me bc their details are just simple enough I have them engraved into my brain

From ocs at large tho, it’s gotta be Sk8z, he very much started as a low effort empty head doodle id fill up my sketchbooks with and this still holds true for him today

Tho an honorable mention is all my AdMech bugs, I love them very much and they are fun to draw I just hate myself for making them so complicated bc I need to pull up their refs to do so in a way I like 😭
