It’s my blabber time since I’m half awake and bored B) the best decision making!! Hope you guys don’t mind my ramblings lol—

But anyway was thinking about maybe writing some fics for my commissar Galileo, he’s so silly smh— and I’d love to further explore some ideas for him. He’s my emotional support angst hetero your honor 🥺!!!!

I also really just like drawing his character so maybe I’ll scrape together more posts since at least some people seem to like when I post him x). For better or for worse I always find myself making some very fluffy characters for grim dark settings, it’s very fun for me— and don’t get me wrong they get plenty of angst and lore appropriate sorrow but it’s more fun to focus on fluff sometimes ya know? Looks at the mini marines looks away

He actually had two commisar counter parts I’ve made as well I might talk abt eventually lol, I’ve actually posted one before and that’s asshole old man Storvis, but yeah UwU.

I just think they’re silly bc they’re all meant to juxtapose one another, Galileo is this very ciaphaus Cain sort of figure where he really does deeply care for his regiments in a very parental and paternal way but feels ashamed for it.

Meanwhile Storvis is just the kind of “stereotypical” one wrong more and you’re a heretic commissar

And my third boy is this skittish barely holding himself together commissar who has had the displeasure of being assigned to a penal regiment and having to face the lovely tortures that brings (he has more lore as well but shhhhh—)

B) but yeah— love my boys

Think I’ve even got a timeline for him and his family :)

So basically, baby Gali (≈25ish) loses his wife and eye, gaining a lot of physical scars to Tyranids.

He manages to save his, at the time, 5 month old baby, and raises her till she’s about 3

That’s when he gets the facial burn and scar and looses her to Tyranids as well (at least he thinks and what he’s told by his superiors, She’s actually taken and shipped off to a Schola after the attack—)

So this leaves him fucked up for a good while and thus he gets tossed around from regiment to regiment till he finally gets place with his current regiment and meets his darling skittish son Titus :)

While Galileo is still a bit of a freak about being normal and affectionate (commissar training baaabbeee) he loves Titus like well, a son. And would kill anyone do anything for him :)!!

Arghh more ramble time teehee

Rah— so many warhammer ocs I need to talk about smh, dw dw dw I’ll post more mini marines a swear, it’s just about getting the Inspo for them really. It takes some time!

But yeah— I’ve got four commissars (added one recently) to talk about, a good few little guardsman, a silly kriegsman and a good few space marines I’ve made. All in due time though 👹👹👹

I’ve been thinking about maybe posting some more fics too….or some more silly text posts in general— there is a few mutuals I have who do some very silly very fun text post stuff regarding space marines 👀👀👀 and I just think it’s the best shit ever— but we’ll see 👹👹👹 gotta get the Inspo to do things istg…

All and all we’ll see how it goes and I do wanna try and post more Oc based content cause I like my goofballs, even though ik it doesn’t do as well as my other stuff 🤷. Maybe I’ll find a nice balance lol

I’ve been seeing a lot of interesting stories and lots of good tips for keeping astartes and such, so I decided I’d dip my toes in the water!

While I have never really kept many astartes, we had an older pair of ultramarines(? I’m pretty sure?-) when I was younger but they were more my parents astartes then anything, I do keep Admechs. Right now I actually have a very sweet (albeit a bit of a nuisance some times—) Magos Explorator and their equally as precious companion Logis. But you see this is where issues kind of arise, I love both of them a lot and I do try to keep them as happy and stimulated as possible (as especially with my explorator, they get very antsy and mischievous when not) but this does take up a lot of time from my work and things. so a few months ago I decided to get a trio of skitarri to hopefully try and curb some of my magos duos tendencies to break out their pen and cause havoc in my home and surrounding neighborhood when I’m trying to work on bigger projects that require more of my attention.

Well, I was excited to find my Logis absolutely loved the new little skits. Even taking very good care of them when on some rare occasion I’m not around to watch them! Though, to my dismay, my explorator seems to want nothing to do with them??? I was very bummed about this as I had read skitarris made for very good companions to magos and it just seems to have made him want to break out even more than usual.

Maybe it’s me being a bit inexperienced, as while I’ve had my magos for a few years now I’m no expert, or maybe I made them upset in some way with bringing these skitarri home, but it’s very worrying that they’re trying to break out so much now as— especially as of late— I’ve seen a few astartes I don’t fully recognize wandering about and it’s always my fear they’ll end up being some territorial breed or like- an iron warrior and my explorator will get into some fight he can’t win since he can be extremely stubborn. Not to mention without my logis by his side he has a habit of straying too far from home before I can catch him again.

Any astartes keepers have tips for keeping unwanted astartes away? Is it really something I should worry about? Have I read too many astartes horror stories? Any tips to help with this? It would be greatly appreciated!
