"Why do you get into so many fights?" Juyeon sighs incredulously, muttering a quiet apology when you groan in pain as he dabs at the wound on your cheek with a cotton ball.
Your nose scrunches up at the smell of rubbing alcohol and moved your head away to avoid it from touching the cut on your cheek. He huffs, grabbing your chin in between his index finger and thumb, turning your head to him again.
"Stay still. if you don't clean this up, it might get infected." Juyeon mutters, tongue peeking through his lips as he concentrates. You suddenly find yourself staring at his plump, pink lips. You wondered what would it be like to kiss his lips while he caresses your cheek and--
Your thoughts get cut off as you feel a stinging sensation on your cheek when the alcohol soaked cotton finally comes in contact with the gash. "Ow, be careful!" you hiss at him, he only gives you a small smile in apology.
"You know, for someone who gets into physical fights often, you're surprisingly very delicate." You hear his melodic chuckle at the end of his sentence. The chuckle that never fails to make your heart race faster.
"What is that supposed to mean?" You scoff, rolling your eyes without ill intent.
"It means," Juyeon pauses for a second to look at your eyes. "You're actually not the tough stereotypical "bad girl" that everyone thinks you are." He gives you a wide smile, pearly whites showing and eyes crinkling in delight.
"Why are you doing this anyway?" Your lips tease into a teasing smirk, but you gulp before continuing. "Do you like me or something?"
"I do."
Stunned, you choke a little on your spit at his answer. The boy only offers you a sweet smile again, but this time, his previously innocent eyes now hold a teasing glint in them.
"Stop making fun of me." You stood up from your chair, looking down at him as your face heated up rapidly.
"I'm not making fun of you." Juyeon looks up at you, bright eyes boring through yours, giving you his beautiful smile, it was dripping with playfulness, as he tilts his head to the side in mock confusion.
"Then what do you mean by that?"
"By what?"
"Y-you," You stammer, lost for words. "Nevermind, you're just making fun of me again." You sigh, dropping your head down low, trying to save yourself from more humiliation.
Juyeon abruptly stands up from his chair and walked towards you. Startled, you take a step back, and another, and another. every forward step he takes, you follow with a step backward.
Until your back hits the wall.
"Well, what do you want it to mean, y/n?" He puts both of his palms against the wall on either side of your head, and knees in between your legs, successfully trapping you againts the wall and his body.
"I," you swallow a bile in your throat. "I don't know." you trail off, looking down at the floor. He reaches a hand up to your face, gentle fingers tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
You squeeze your eyes shut as you feel his face leaning closer, his careful fingers ghosting over your cheekbones. oh god he's going to kiss me he's going to kiss meㅡ
"Done." His gentle voice calls out, once again cutting off your thoughts as you opened your eyes and see him taking a step back. "Huh?" You reply dumbly, releasing a breath that you didn't know you were holding as you blinked at him.
You reach a hand up your cheek, feeling the rough material of a bandaid where your long-forgotten cut was, mouth gaping in disbelief and once again, Juyeon only gives you that infuriatingly(deceivingly) pure smile of his.
"W-what?" You stutter out, mouth still agape as you stared at him. He brings a hand up to your chin and pushes it up to close your mouth. "You're gonna attract flies, y/n." he chuckles airily.
"I was just putting a bandaid over your wound. Why? Were you expecting something else?" Juyeon teases, eyes closing from how wide his smile was and chuckling again as he hears you trying to form words but only jumbled sentences come out of your mouth. Oh he was definitely making fun of you now.
"Fuck you," you spat, reaching a hand up to his chest. Your fingers wrap tightly around his necktie and you pull his body towards yours with force until his chest was flush against yours.
"Stop playing around and kiss me for real this time."
