Getting my plethora of different antibiotics, fluids, and magnesium.

They promise I am Not dying.

However, I am getting moved to the telemetry unit to watch my vitals more closely since I keep having a fever and my blood pressure goes wonky.

I just woke up after they gave me morphine for the pain to get my blood drawn and then met my night nurse.

He took my temperature and it’s 102.6 so it still went up.

Even with Tylenol.

He said he isn’t surprised because my labs looked like I was borderline septic.

Maybe another two hours and I would have been septic.

Hello dearest readers,

I am writing you from the ER.

The derma glue, to close the surgery site, came off when I took off the bandaging from my surgery on the 26th and I saw my surgeon on the first and he said it looked OK.

However, starting Friday, I started having diarrhea like that and then through the night it started hurting like a motherfucker and feeling hot to the touch.

Then when I woke up today, I just got worse and worse and worse and worse and worse… I can barely walk without someone helping me.

I woke up with Violent shaking, massive diarrhea, can’t keep down anything except for a sip of water here and there and even then I still try to throw it up, massive dizziness, passing out, I feel like I’m on fire, but I’m freezing to death, my surgical site is leaking like a faucet and it’s hot to touch and then it feels like a rock.

They have mentioned possible hospitalization but who knows.

They finally gave me Norco and more Zofran and now I am on two different IVs of antibiotics and fluids.

I also stopped shaking and having to keep in the fetal position.

Sorry for errors, using speech-texting mode, my hands are still shaking.

Omg please that is totally okay! Pistilverse is honestly not super common/widely known but I will explain it the best way that I can!

Essentially, pistilverse is an AU where there is a societal/biological hierarchy in which people are born as pistils or stamens. These two denotations essentially split humans into groups that determine how they bear children, sex traits, relationships, biology etc. It borrows terminology and science from plant relationships/cycles.

I like to compare it to a/b/o or omegaverse. A stamen is a human who would be like the alpha or the 'dominant' side of the pair, while the pistil would be similar to an omega or the more 'submissive' side of the pair.

In pistilverse, each stamen and pistil also have some sort of flower or botanical element assigned to them that when their in a relationship, that flower or element 'blooms' on their partner's skin. I've seen this used all sorts of different ways specifically and like instances of when it blooms/how it blooms/why it blooms are always up to the writer.

Essentially, it's just a layer of world-building that can be used to change social/biological/gender norms in a variety of different genre settings in fanfic!
