I am at my orchestra practise rn so music instrument it is then
Jacob: he definitely learned the clarinet in middle school but now can't even get a sound out of it.
Emma: Saxophone. It fits her badass, old woman, Fire, oldtimer aesthetic
Bronwyn: Tuba or trumpet because it's so LOUND but also beautiful
Olive: maybe triangle because she is too impatient to learn an instrument. Or cello because just
Claire: Harmonica because she has two mouths lol. probably played the flute in the past but got bored.
Enoch: something deep so ig oboe or bassoon. But I have this weird feeling that he played the flute at some point
Horace: everything. Violin, piano and flute. He's a natural talent in romantic things
Hugh: accordeon. Just. Accordeon.
Fiona: definitely flute or harp. They are both very tender and calm. It also fits to her "nature girl" thing
Millard: piano. He's rlly into that classic stuff tho (but what pianist isn't)

i need to prove a point to my grandson
my grandson (he’s 17) recently started dating my ex girlfriend (age 87) and he says he doesn’t see anything wrong with it. please reblog if you think that he is doing the wrong thing and should back out of this relationship immediately. I’ll write all your urls in a book and show it to him, and maybe he’ll change his mind.
"Slipping through my fingers" from ABBA is literally Miss Peregrine about Emma.
About her precious little girl and how she grows away from her.
"Slipping through my fingers all the time, do I really see what's on her mind" NO she doesn't! And after Abe leaves she is getting even farer away from her.
"The feeling that I'm loosing her, forever. Without even entering her world." LITERALLY. Also when they leave the house in book one to find Martin. BETRAYAL
"I'm glad whenever I can share her laughter. That funny little girl" and in the moments where Emma is happy (which, after Abe left, weren't very common) she remembers everything and ARGHH that's so sad.
"Each time I think I'm close to knowing, she keeps on growing" again, after Abe leaves. Then Jacob pops up. Emma loves both of them. CONFUSION
This.
But honestly it would also fit with bronwyn
Jacob: Okay, now we need to use our brains to solve this enigma.
Emma: Let’s just ask Millard instead.
Bronwyn: Hey Millard, what’s the solution?
*silence*
Bronwyn: …Millard?
Horace: Oh God. We lost him.
Enoch: We left him at the station. He wasn’t with us on the train.
Emma: I feel horrible. Poor boy, I wonder where he is right now. Maybe he’s suffering under the rain…
Bronwyn: …hungry…
Emma: …naked.
Bronwyn: Poor, poor boy.
*meanwhile, in a warm living room full of precious furniture, with three sofas and tea and biscuits (so British) on a small table*
Millard, covered by stolen clothes, drinking tea and talking with a lovely old woman: *thinking* Enjoy your fuckin train, you fake friends.
"Line without a hook" from Ricky Montgomery is literally Hugh and Fiona. You can't tell me otherwise
People be like, Nico Santos, Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber but "boy you want to take singing classes? Fuck that and play football"
