I am at my orchestra practise rn so music instrument it is then
Jacob: he definitely learned the clarinet in middle school but now can't even get a sound out of it.
Emma: Saxophone. It fits her badass, old woman, Fire, oldtimer aesthetic
Bronwyn: Tuba or trumpet because it's so LOUND but also beautiful
Olive: maybe triangle because she is too impatient to learn an instrument. Or cello because just
Claire: Harmonica because she has two mouths lol. probably played the flute in the past but got bored.
Enoch: something deep so ig oboe or bassoon. But I have this weird feeling that he played the flute at some point
Horace: everything. Violin, piano and flute. He's a natural talent in romantic things
Hugh: accordeon. Just. Accordeon.
Fiona: definitely flute or harp. They are both very tender and calm. It also fits to her "nature girl" thing
Millard: piano. He's rlly into that classic stuff tho (but what pianist isn't)

Mother Dust is one of the most powerful peculiar in the entire series.
The world doesn't deserve her yet she heals with no question. Reynaldo even pointed out how she doesn't leave any little thing unhealed.
When Emma asked why does she kept healing people even though it's hurting her, she simply answered because it's how she was born to serve.
Mother Dust saved them too many times to count. She even gave them her fingers for goodness sake.
She will do anything to keep Reynaldo safe, even if it meant following Myron Bentham's orders.
Emma confirmed that the "wax figures" in Bentham's house were real people put to deep slumber by Mother Dust. Whilst doing whatever healers do, she had to maintain the sleeping state of Myron's collections. That's a lot of peculiars in constant sleep for ages and it probably took a lot of dust. Her power is limited yet she managed to do that for years.
Jacob is known to be one of the most special peculiars, and his powers enhanced drastically everytime he uses the dust.
