i am watching the last ep of jeof and i had totally forgotten the “i’m sure you exist because i could not have made you up” dialogue. Like, that’s one of my favorite romantic themes and I had entirely forgot that julie had said it to Daniel and i am just making such weird noises that my brother came to check if i was ok.

why weren’t they endgame, that’s so unfair ;-;

My little star

This is a wonderful time when day turns into night. Sunset. Light, soft pink lines surround the sun, about to sink below the horizon, to then begin a repeating cycle day after day. And life is, to some extent, a cycle. The circle of life. Someone dies hard, and someone is destined to be born now. Be that as it may, most often the best ones leave. Those kind of unusual creatures, from one second of their appearance in whose life only good and warm memories will remain forever.

Tails never counted how much time passed side by side with Cosmo. A day? A week? A year? In any case, it all flew by in an instant. The Sindrian appeared in his life literally like a bright star from the night sky and left just like that. Quietly, with a smile on her face, wishing him and all his friends only the most necessary thing — happiness. How many times did the little fox want to finally understand how the time machine works... To return to that moment... To hug her tightly and never let go... His little green star... There would definitely be another way to deal with the Metarex, because there are no hopeless situations, Sonic and Eggman together would have come up with something. And even if they hadn't come up with something, so be it! The main thing is that she is alive and well, even at the cost of his own and such a short life. Is it really impossible for the little hero of Mobius and Earth to have his own happiness? Why is fate so unfair to him?.. Gave everything and cut it off in an instant.

Yes, Prower resigned himself to her loss. But how painful it is to watch when during missions Sonic pulls Amy out of yet another scrape with a smile, Rouge, smirking, once again hits on the confused and embarrassed echidna... Every time after that, he has nightmares where she disappears again and again, whispering that she will never forget him. Because of this, the fox wakes up in tears, tightly clutching his pillow and curling up into a ball... Even his partner noticed more than once that he hadn't slept enough and desperately tried to hide his yawns.

It's not that Miles was downright lonely... He often visited Cream and her mother Vanilla. The older rabbit was already good to the yellow guest, and after those events, she even began to take care of him like her own son. To some extent, it was nice... Cream involved Tails in various activities in every possible way, such as cooking, drawing and sewing. If he had been a little more attentive, he would have noticed that the girl was sincerely in love with him, but didn't say so out of respect for his feelings. But, alas, neither one nor the other could replace Cosmo for him... From one gentle, so innocent and naive look of her aquamarine eyes, a soft pink blush appeared on her cheeks through the snow-white fur.

Sometimes at night, after nightmares, waking up, he would shout: "You promised to always be with me! Why aren't you here when I need you so much?!" and would bury his nose in the pillow, hiding the tears that had appeared again. But he didn't know one thing... His little star followed him everywhere in the form of a ghost. She hugged him in his sleep, while the wind only swayed his yellow fur, put her hands on his shoulders when he was lonely... It was all thanks to that very seed that Sonic brought after the explosion. The girl saw how Tails suffered, she didn't like it at all, but one thing gave her hope: she would return soon. And everything would be as before.

"The heart of the show isnt austin and ally's romance, its their partnership. whether they ended up together or not in the end, it wouldnt change the fact that they have a unique bond. thats why theres so many ups and downs, its not to tease the fans or even to give fanservice. The affection they hold for eachother grows to become uncomparable to any other of their relationships (friends, family or romantic). thats why they have a hard time figuring out what label to give themselves. The beauty of this ship is how real and sincere they are. They care MORE about their friendship then anything else. The romance they (and most of us) were taught is way too superficial or fragile for the bond they have, and the plot is them realising that this precious bond they share is what love truly is. they never once stopped having feelings for eachother, even while dating other people. the feelings they had for other people never dimmed down the feelings they had for eachother, because it just was growing more and more with every friendly casual moments they shared. its a no brainer that they would repress and block off those feelings to the point of being in denial until they hurt other people and annoy us with their sudden explosions of repressed feelings. That what we expect out of a slow burn. It's easy to get distracted by the TONES of filler superficial comedy , but the real heart of the show is the preciousness of sincere frienship and partnership in romance. It's a kids show, but when ur able to take a step back and separate whats ment as a joke and whats is ment to be remebered, you realise how much this story stands out from other kids shows, and could have translated so well as a regular tv-show." - @yllilzneb185

Past and future

"Luke? You're so quiet today."

Jessie had been babysitting the Ross family long enough to be able to tell when one of the kids was seriously upset about something. And the Luke she knew preferred to fool around, but not sit on the floor of his own room alone.

The boy winced at the sound of her voice and smiled. Luke had incredible artistry — which, however, was extremely useful for a future professional dancer — and he could easily seduce anyone with his big brown eyes and freckles, which made him look vaguely like a human incarnation of a Dalmatian. But he always smiled at her in a special way, without a hint of pretense. Zuri joked that she had brought her into the house, and thanks to Luke, the girl stayed on for a permanent position. It was no secret that, despite the great amorousness of the eldest of the sons, his heart was surprisingly given only to Jessie. But what to do with such a gift? She never considered herself too beautiful or capable of gathering crowds of admirers in principle. Perhaps this was explained by internal self-doubt.

"Do you remember the good old days when there was no one to raise you?" Jessie asked, noticing the photo album lying on his lap, and sat down next to him.

"Very funny, Jess," Luke responded discontentedly, as if by chance leaning his head closer to her shoulder. "Ask the younger ones that, and they will definitely decide that you are tired of us."

"Where would I go from you?" the girl grinned. "My conscience would torment me. Zuri won't let me go until she comes of age. I myself am interested to know what wonderful people you will grow up to be.

"You know, I don't want to grow up. You will leave, you will have your own life, in which there is no place for four teenagers..." he muttered, not looking at her.

"Luke..." Jessie said, confused, and pulled him into her arms.

Of course, she loved the entire Ross family. And it wasn't just the supposed opportunities to become an actress or earn some money. Despite the sometimes unbearable behavior of her charges, it was hard for her to imagine how life would have unfolded without the guys. Would she have been able to stay in this city at all? Would there have been a good reason? It seemed as if Luke had heard her thoughts.

"And I thought about what it would be like to live with... my blood mother. She... loved me. All parents love their children. But why did she leave me then? What if I wasn't good enough for her?" Luke looked up. There was no mischievous twinkle in his eyes: only a hidden sadness.

"I'm sure your mother had her own circumstances." Jessie smiled warmly, hoping to cheer him up. "Are you happy in this family?"

"Of course! I can't imagine a better family! I was lucky to be with loving parents," Luke replied with a bit of indignation. "Besides, if I had stayed in my blood family, I would be a completely different person. You and I would never have met..."

"I can't imagine how I would live," the girl said with exaggerated drama. "And how can anyone not love you? You're a wonderful child with many talents. A whole world of possibilities is open to you!"

"And among them, there is not a very specific one?.." He bowed his head with the most charming look he could muster.

"They say that love lasts three years. Then you will find out who is really close to you." The girl gently patted his head.

Jessie frankly didn't believe that these feelings would remain in him at least until adulthood. She remembered herself in those years: interests changed rapidly, not to mention sympathies. But that devotion of the boy, who watched her looking for a new relationship, was amazing. Sometimes it even seemed that his intentions were much more serious.

"I already know. I'm sure that nothing will change." And again that loving look, from which the soul became ashamed.

"What are you chatting about?" Zuri looked into the room with a suspiciously cunning expression on her face.

"I’m so lucky to have you all," Luke chuckled, winking at Jesse.

She won't tell about his little weakness. A real family isn't always the one that is blood relatives.

See you again (chapter 2)

☆☆☆

And then she woke up, but didn’t see the assembled guests. Surprisingly, there was only her room around.

"What a realistic dream," Jane thought bitterly, looking at the ceiling with detachment.

Carefully putting the blanket aside, the girl slowly stood up, swaying slightly. The feelings from the dream still didn't leave her. For some reason her dress was wet...

Where did she manage to do it?

The phone lying on the nightstand beeped. Today's date appeared on top — her birthday — and a message from Carlos.

A message from Carlos.

It can't be.

Trembling fingers unlocked the messenger.

The contact had the very photo she took during the dance competition. Carlos was all beaming with pride in it, because he managed to take first place.

She couldn't concentrate on reading: the letters were jumping before her eyes.

"Good morning. I hope you had only good dreams. We’re preparing a big joint gift with the guys. Don't be missed without me, I promise to finish as soon as possible."

And two hearts at the end. Black and white. That was always his signature.

Her heart skipped a beat.

No. No, it's impossible.

She had to see for herself.

Clutching the phone in her hand, she glanced at the things in the closet. The mood was more than decisive, so the choice fell on a blue jacket and skirt. Her hair — by the way, also wet — was gathered in a high ponytail. The phone went into the jacket pocket.

The only thing Jane forgot to do was to ask Carlos where they were preparing this very gift. Luckily, Dizzy was passing by, thoughtfully examining the two shades of paint on her hand.

"Hello!" the girl called out to her, trying to hide the nervousness in her voice. "Have you seen Evie?"

"Hi," the girl responded, turning around. "I saw her, but I’m not supposed to tell you where exactly."

"It’s really important to me." Saying this casually turned out to be harder than she thought.

"If you don’t tell on me, we’re even," Dizzy answered without thinking twice and giggled, whispering: "Evie mentioned that Carlos and Jay were going to the sportground."

"Thank you!" Jane, overcome with emotion, hugged her unexpected assistant and went in the direction indicated.

It was hard to believe that everything had really become like before. She had seen with her own eyes how Carlos... No, she definitely didn’t want to remember that. In fairy tales, good people always won. With the help of magic, the power of love or friendship. Jane didn't have full-fledged magic, she had almost no friends — until she became close with the children of villains — but she loved. Loved for the first time, sincerely and with faith in a happy ending. So why did fate take away the most precious thing? Was it a punishment? But for what? What was her fault? Unwillingness to follow the rules that appeared long before her birth? And now... Would a guy really end up on the field alive and well? Or was this an evil irony over her feelings?

The students hurrying past created the impression that another weekday had begun. The closer she got, the more her hands trembled. Even the sun, shining brightly in the sky, didn't calm her down. It was unknown which emotion dominated: a terrible fear of possible disappointment or stunning joy if... But more on that later.

"Your lord... Ben! Don't you have royal business?" Jay's clearly embarrassed voice reached her.

"First of all, I only have a part of the duties," Ben waved it off. "Secondly, I owe it to her. And to you too."

Jane peeked out from behind the stands, not daring to give away her presence. Jay was holding a large sheet of cardboard, while Ben was coloring it beige. She caught her breath, trying to calm her rapidly beating heart. Carlos was nowhere to be seen. How could this be?.. No, this is...

"And it's not nice to peek," A painfully familiar voice sounded right next to her ear.

The girl was afraid to move. Afraid to find out that she imagined it. Disappointment would hit with all its force.

"But I can't blame you: I myself am terribly eager to show it as soon as possible."

Holding her breath as if before jumping into the water, she slowly turned around. He. It was really he. Alive. Real. Not a dream. With an unchanging smile that warmed the soul. Blinking rapidly from the tears that had welled up in her eyes, Jane sniffled and wrapped her arms around his neck. Carlos was taken aback, but gently pulled the girl towards him by the waist.

"What happened?" he asked worriedly, peering into her face. "Did some plans get ruined? Are you unable to finish your business? We can always help, you know that."

"No, I..." She took a deep breath. "I had a bad dream. It was all real, but much worse. And you... I thought..."

She didn't have the courage to finish the sentence.

"See: everything is fine. You wouldn't believe how many times I dreamed about life on the Isle. How afraid I was to wake up and realize that none of this had ever happened. A better life does exist. Here, in Auradon, with you and the guys."

Jane bit her lip, smiled nervously and nodded briefly. The realization of what was happening still had only just dawned on her.
