i SHOULD be finishing chapter 4 of Interludes but i got hit with a sudden rush of ANGST and now i have about 4k words of a completely different WIP one-shot that i need to get the hell out of my system before it consumes my thoughts entirely -_-

One of my Sonic Aus. Black Hole Son Au. Inspired by the Song “Black Hole Sun” By Sound Garden. 

In this Au Sonic disappears for a few years and comes because to his best friend being drastically changed. In Sonic’s absence a great ancient evil came to the planet and tried to consume the sun. Through some hoopla Tails ends up sealing the evil within himself to save the planet. He grows up and gets new markings. He’s constantly tired and unhappy because of the evil sealed within him. Becomes a bit of a hard ass to people around him but he doesn’t mean to be. 

Hates asking for help.

Sonic doesn’t know what to do.

I’ve had this grown-up Tails design in my head for years but thank you to #tsaikonautz for helping me polish my design.

Soooo. In my Black Hole Son AU, Cosmo is alive. Like Tails, she’s grown up a bit, but I didn’t really like her older design from Sonic X so I just made some adjustments to her normal look. 

They are companions and live together in a desert oasis they built themselves. 

Tails runs a mechanic shop while Cosmo runs a cafe for travelers. They moved to the middle of butt fuck nowhere to find peace. Because of the evil sealed within Tails he gets socially burnt out quickly. Cosmo wanted to make him a home he could find repose in. 

I’ve always loved Cosmo. She’s my third favorite character after Tails and Sonic. 

The bottom is the original watercolor I painted while working. I’m a flight attendant. While in the air I’ll sketch on my mini watercolor book then at my hotel I’ll paint it in. I just finished the Digital version on my home laptop.

I'm working on a Sonic X PMV that shows Sonic and Tails' struggling relationship after the events of Sonic X.

The entire process is slow going becuase I travel a lot for work and I have a huge drawing pad that I can't take with me.

HAHAHAHAHAH Never mind I finished it. Who needs sleep??

Anyway, this is a short PMV about the state of Sonic and Tails' relationship after the events of Sonic X. They are both hurting, and they aren't sure if their brotherhood can move past the loss of Cosmo.

Spoilers: it can.

Tails ain't doing so good and Sonic is trying his best.

Old practice animation I did on Pencil 2D. A free program. The program has a hard time running on my new laptop so I'm not able to finish it without major struggle. (Program randomly closes or the frame rate is off during playback.) The program is great if you want to get started in 2D animation.

In the story Tails struggles with understanding his place. Does he belong on the ground like the other Mobian's or is his place in the ever-moving horizon like the birds? Sonic sees him struggling and is worried his little bro will choose a life where he cannot truly follow. AKA the Sky.

What is Mikey's age in your AU? I've been thinking for a while about whether or not I should ask, because, y'know... anxiety about talking to people Oh btw, what's your favorite Sonic character??

Me and my cousin start to think about it, and 27 yes 27 he is not that old.

We did some calculations, and it happened when raph died, so with that on mind and taking the 2044 year and Mikey's born year and well a lot of numbers... and the final result is 27 :3
