are you staying home from work/school?: Yep! I’ve been at home for almost a month now, it’s...a time!

if you’re staying home, who’s there with you?: My parents!

are you a homebody?: Not on purpose, I just get caught up in work and art stuff, or am thoroughly disappointed with the bad weather, so I don’t end up going to do stuff outside of my house for a while!

what movies have you watched recently? what shows are you watching?: I’m so glad I can answer this question with something recent now! I watched “portrait of a lady on fire” and it’s utterly beautiful, and I’ve really just been watching Brooklyn nine-nine and accidentally rewatching game of thrones when I need background noise haha

an event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled?: I don’t think I really have one, except for maybe the band music festival my wind ensemble was going to (but I was a bit relieved, I don’t think I’d practiced enough to be prepared haha)

what music are you listening to?: About the same as usual, quite honestly, some blend of Taylor Swift, lorde, Hilary Hahn, and the like! I have taken to listening to the occasional “when will my life begin” from Tangled, though, it seems fitting!

what are you reading?: Fanfic. Sooooo much fanfic. But other than that, I’m attempting to make my way through catch-22 and maybe “loveboat, Taipei”!

what are you doing for self-care?: Doing my best to talk to my friends still, and find ways to create things while I’m in quarantine so I can engage my brain still!

Considering how belated this is, I suspect nearly everyone’s done this by now haha, but I’ll tag @aryasbadbenergy @starrynightshade and @kelleesioverhere if you guys haven’t yet!

Behold, a snippet from my mysterious wip!

“Aren’t you cold?” is the first thing he asks once he opens it, and he knows the answer long before it even leaves his mouth.

She raises her eyebrows, because she knows the answer too.

Still. “You’re wearing a t-shirt and shorts. It’s freezing out.”

She just raises her eyebrows again, wordlessly.

He rolls his eyes. “Fine, fine. What did you want?” he grumbles.

“Couldn’t sleep,” she says, shrugging.

He gives her a sympathetic half-smile, and takes the bait. “Why not?”

She shrugs again, seeming as though she’s searching for the right words. “Got busy thinking,” she settles on.

“Oh no, Arya Stark, thinking?” he teases. She gives a small huff at that in amusement. “What were you thinking about?” he asks, more softly this time.

“Jon,” she supplies easily. Sounds about right. It’s his seventh year since he’s been posted at the Wall, she hasn’t heard from him in four months, and he’s supposed to come home in three weeks. Figures it’s on her mind. “Bran,” she continues. That one gives him pause a little. She hesitates.

“You.”

He swallows, then nods. He knows where this is going. He leans his head down a little to meet hers, which is fixed on the ground, until she looks back at him. In the moonlight, her eyes seem to glow a little, plaintive and cautious all at once. “I’m right here,” he reminds her. She bites her lip and nods.
