One of the many cool things about the Honorable Ones is that Zeb and Kallus both save each other when they don't have to anymore. Zeb didn't have to jump down onto that bonzami to save Kallus from falling and being eaten, but he did. Kallus didn't have to shoot the bonzami instead of Zeb, but he did. That's an entirely different layer of meaning than if they had only saved each other's lives while they needed each other to get out of the cave and it's such a brilliant touch.

I've just rewatched Honorable Ones again with a friend who was discovering Rebels for the first time, and hearing her going from "damn what a crackship, I'm sure people ship them " at the beginning of the episode to "oh shit I kinda love them" after they settle in the cave was priceless
Anyway, wanted to do some comfort art because they really do deserves it

Soooo my last line about star wars rebels is probably either this sketch or this one, don't quite remember

Minor The Bad Batch spoilers for 1x02!
I’m sorry but I cannot forgive The Bad Batch animators for this...
I was so excited to see Cut Lawquane in the phase 2/3 Clone Wars animation style...why?
He doesn’t really look like the regs we saw in the cafeteria fight and hopefully he doesn’t look like Rex. It seems like his design was more in between phase 1 and phase 2 animation styles...
Not to mention this f*cking monstrosity:

ANYWAYS, Cut Lawquane is a great dad and I love him regardless! The way he was so quick to accept Omega into their family and how Shaeeah and Jek aren’t even his biological kids but he treats them like his own🥲
I actually liked the last episode of season 1 of the bad batch while the angst between the brothers broke my heart i still was able to see both sides everyone had a right to be hurt but it doesn’t mean that they don’t love each other any less, no one was right and no one wasn’t wrong, it is all a complex situation all round nobody is perfect we all make mistakes but it doesn’t mean that your a bad person.
i want crosshair to be back with his brothers as much as any one but i don’t think that is in the cards right now. omega saying to crosshair that he is still her/their brother no matter what that he can come back if he ever decides to i was glad to he had a chance to hear that, and he still has a place with them if he ever choses to. palpatine already took the clones individualities and their home away from them as much as i would love for him to stay with his brothers it has to be BY HIS. CHOICE NOT BECUASE HE WAS FORCED TO.
it would not surprise me if the empire used military propaganda to lie to people and make them believe in their cause we have to people in the past believe in what the empire was doing and then seeing what they are actually like and eventually deciding to defect to the rebellion once they realised what the empire was really about and how they treated their own people.
An example of this is kallus from star wars rebels when he was on that moon with zeb orellios he took his chances with the empire instead of joining zeb and waited for the empire to pick him up.
but then we found out in a commentary i believe that he wasn’t even picked up by the empire themselves but an ordinary transport and when he eventually got back to the empire no one even noticed that he was gone which showed us that the empire didn’t want to waste their resources finding just one man which just goes to show that the empire doesn’t care about their own people.
the shot that we saw of kallus back in his quarters reminded me of the last shot we got of crosshair in the finale.
i firmly believe that there was a reason for this parallel because we all know that dave feloni loves his parallels of things we have seen in the past and that crosshair will eventually get a redemption arc in the future i just hate that we have to wait a year to find out what happens next and i for one am looking forward to what that entails.

Guys, I strongly believe that Dave Filoni is setting up a Kallus redemption arc for Crosshair. They both made the choice not to join the Rebels, despite knowing that the Empire doesn’t care about them. Kallus took advantage of his position and became a spy for the Rebellion…who’s to say that Crosshair won’t as well?
Y’all just need to be patient…

So apparently Lira San, the Lasat homeworld, is located in Wild Space…and I just found that out?
In the Rebels finale, Sabine said that Zeb took Kallus to Lira San and that he was welcomed there. This is about the same time that the Ahsoka series is supposed to take place (I think Dave Filoni said that the epilogue wasn’t confirmed to be before The Mandalorian). Do y’all think Zeb and Kallus might make an appearance in the Ahsoka series, since they’re so closeby and Ahsoka&Sabine/Thrawn&Ezra might need as much help as they can get (fighting Grysks??)??👀

Picks up where the Rebels Epilogue ends but set after TBOBF
Finding Ezra isn’t in the finale and he gets a good amount of screentime throughout the season
Redeemed Thrawn (I believe that he does whatever is in his and Csilla’s best interest. The Empire probably thinks he’s dead, not that Palpatine was happy with him the last time they spoke immediately before the Purgill incident. If anything, I think Ezra saved Thrawn’s life and Thrawn probably knows it)
ELI VANTO (with a southern accent!!!)
Chiss vs Grysk conflict and Ezra possibly helping Thrawn
Ghost Crew reunion (hopefully with Zeb and Kallus as well)
Force-sensitive Sabine trained by Ahsoka to use Ezra’s lightsaber (there’s a lot of evidence to support Sabine being force-sensitive: being a descendant of Tarre Vizsla, the Darksaber finding its way to her, her being able to defeat Kanan in a duel when she tapped into her emotions, the force theme playing during her fight with Gar Saxon, Ezra leaving his lightsaber to her and “counting on her”, the loth wolves following her in the Rebels epilogue, etc.)
