One of the things that bothers me about people saying that Zutara shippers are delusional is that, after Katara forgives Zuko, there are quite a few scenes of Sokka and Suki, followed by more or less similarly framed scenes of Zuko and Katara.

(For what it's worth, there was actually much more focus on Zuko and Katara's hands than Sokka and Suki's, make of that what you will)

How is it not romantic subtext if there are not-so-subtle visual parallels with a canon romantic pairing?

Thinking about how in "Death and the Queen" (Tenth Doctor Adventures - Volume one), the Doctor said "I lied. I said I was fine about you leaving, and I'm not" and "No man's ever gonna be good enough for my Donna", and how when he said "No happily ever after", Donna answered "Except with you".

This is why this blog exists. For them.

Katara being the first person outside of himself to touch Zukos scar is extremely special. Kataras touch was so gentle, it helped ground Zuko, and allowed him to realize that it's not something he should be ashamed of. Earlier in the season, Zuko is seen touching his own scar in a moment of his own identity crisis, whereas Katara touched him scar in a moment of his own self-reflection.
