"can I borrow your charger? I left mine." I said. he nodded and moved his chair over. "do you just want to charge it in here and we play some games?" jeongin asked, pulling down his headphones to his neck. "do you have mario kart? I haven't played it in forever." I asked as I walked closer to him. "of course I have mario kart!" jeongin said. "okay, okay. where's the charger?" I said with a big smile. jeongin point under the desk, "it should be down there. it's white you should see it." he said, moving himself out of the way. I got onto the floor and searched for the plug. I crawled more under the desk to get a better look. "did you find it?" jeongin asked as he moved closer. I finally got a glimpse of the damn thing, "found it!" I said as I plugged my phone up.

I brought my body out from under the desk and placed my phone on the edge of the surface above me. "okay then, let's play some mario kart!" jeongin said with a smile. I looked up at him from the floor. as our eyes met, I felt the mood shift and quickly too. the way his bright smile changed just by his eyes as they casted down upon me. his eyes held something behind them, like he was holding back something. we felt frozen in place by each other's stare, neither one of us moving. the longer we held eye contact, the more warm the room felt. 

my eyes trailed from his, to his nose, lips, his neck, collarbone, to- I shot my eyes back up. his eyes were on my lips for just a second more. "i- let me go grab a hair tie, don't want my hair to get in the way of me winning." I said as I jumped off the floor and quickly went to get a hair tie from the other bedroom.

I tied my hair in a simple style and looked at it in the mirror. I look at myself and asked myself in my head what the fuck just happened? I took a good deep breath and headed back to the game room. jeongin had already put mario kart on and grabbed a second chair and had two controllers laying out. "ready to get your ass best, winner." jeongin taunted as he handed me one of the controllers. "are you?" I sassed back. I sat back next to him and picked out my favorite character. "really? you're gonna lose with that dude." jeongin laughed. 

"oh yeah, at least I didn't pick the most basic ass character- mario." I said as I pointed to his side of the screen. "oh you are going so down for calling mario basic ass character." he said back. "but he is, his name is literally in the title!" I tried to explain myself. "no! but guess what." he said. I looked over to him and said what with playful eyes. "I hope you're good at rainbow road because I just chose the course with it in it." he smirked as my jaw dropped.

after 5 rounds of mario kart, it was 3 - 2. jeongin said he was done with the game because he was bored. "what is that I hear? jeongin being a sore loser?" I said. "NO!....but I still can't believe I lost 3 times to you." he said, covering his face with his hands. I giggled and came closer to him as I uncovered his face. our faces inches apart, as I leaned in more and more, his eyes became wide then flicked down to my lips and back up. I stopped and looked at him, taking in his good looks and placed my hand on his cheek. with an evil smile I said, "I believe it." before patting his cheek. jeongin's face dropped and was unpleased. I got up from my seat and reached for my phone, which was now on the ground because of how competitive we both got. I placed my phone back on the desk.

jeongin scooted his chair closer to me as I stood back up. he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his lap. my back against his chest as he rested his head on my shoulder. I felt my heart beating out of my chest. well this is a new experience. i froze in his arms, not knowing what to do. so i just laid my hands on his arms. "you know what? I'm feeling like playing one more round." jeongin quietly said next to my ear. I felt my body react to his words. "really now?" I said, turning my head a bit to see him. he nodded, "but there's a twist." he said before continuing, "one person plays the game as the other one tries to distract them, making them lose." he handed me the controller. "okay, but since it's your idea, you should play first." I said. he raised his eyebrows but agreed. 

I smiled and stood up beside him. he picked his character, mario again, and clicked the first course in the top row. "try your best to distract me." jeongin said with a smirk as the countdown began. once the race started, I took my time. there are multiple races in each course anyway, might as well take my time and butter him up slowly. 

on the first race, I stared at him- blatantly checking him out, also easing up on him very slowly. he only messed up a few times. 

on the second race, i stood right behind him and leaned down where both of our heads were level. I told him when someone was coming up or about to hit him, he lost one of the laps.

on the third race, I did the same thing but added a few touches here and there on his arms. again he lost one lap.

the last race, I stopped everything and placed my hands on his shoulders. bringing them down just a little and right back up. but every time I went down, I went a little further each time. by the end of the last lap- which he lost, my hands went down to his waist. he lost all three laps that race.

"you did a pretty okay job at distracting me, I only lost one race and lost a few laps." he huffed. he turned around to face me and handed me the controller. I grabbed it and expected him to stand up so I could sit. I answered. the kitten jumped into minho lap and onto the floor. "and why didn't you tell me? i could have gotten him something while i was out!" 

"that's what you're concerned about." I laughed out. "I'm being serious." he said with a small pout on his lips. "he already has a lot of toys in my room, a lot of treats and food i got when i picked him up. he's good minho." I said as I patted his shoulder while getting up. "I want another snack before we head to my room."

minho got up as soon as I walked passed and tried followed me, but while we were talking, what we failed to notice was the kitten was messing with his shoe laces. minho tripped as he tried to take a step and fell into me. both of us crashing on the ground, me facing the floor with minho on top of me.

"shit, are you okay?" he asked, sitting up on his knees while helping me turnover. I couldn't help but laugh at the expression on his face. I fell back because of how hard I was laughing. minho leaned over me, hands either side of my head. "what's so funny?" he asked.
