Tauxolouve: "I... Am a demigod... I know...! I know you all must disapprove of me now! And I bet you don't want to be around a halfling like me—"
Aigonorus: "Vega made tea. Shut up and sit down."

Day Fifteen: Kiss It Better (Tauxolouve/MC)
Slumping down on the sofa, ___ nursed her hand with a sigh. The icy pavements today meant she had slipped on her way back home from work and whilst she had managed to stop herself from falling over, she had scraped the back of her hand on the wall she had nearly careered into.
Knowing that Tauxolouve had arranged to meet her shortly, she was about to see whether she could find something to tend her hand with, when there was a knock at her door.
Not wishing to keep her boyfriend waiting, ___ quickly headed over to the door and opened it, forcing a smile onto her face. “You’re early.”
Tauxolouve tilted his head and smiled fondly at her. “When Aigo offers to finish up for you, you take it. Who knows if it’ll ever happen again.”
___ blinked. “Aigonorus offered to…” she trailed off with disbelief.
“Perhaps it’s some form of Christmas miracle,” Tauxolouve replied with a slight laugh as he headed into her apartment.
However, the pleasant mood did not last long as his gaze fell upon her hand. He bit his lip. “___, what happened?”
“Huh?”
Tauxolouve’s expression became more serious as he looked back up at her with hard eyes. “Your hand. Did someone hurt you?”
“Oh! No nothing like that! It’s just… it’s icy out and I almost slipped… must have grazed it on the wall when I stumbled. I was going to try and find something to treat it with when you knocked…”
Relaxing a little, Tauxolouve guided her over to the sofa and sat down with her. “I know what will make it feel better,” he murmured softly with a glint in his eye.
“... Lou?”
Smiling lovingly at her, Tauxolouve gently raised her hand and then bent down a little, gently kissing each grazed knuckle one by one.
___ averted her gaze, her breath hitching. Well if she had started to forget that it had been hurting when talking to Tauxolouve, she was certainly not thinking about the injury at all now. She tried not to blush.
Giving her hand a kiss for good measure, Tauxolouve looked back up, his expression kind and concerned. “You didn’t hurt yourself anywhere else did ya?”
“N-no. Really, Lou, I’m fine.”
Tauxolouve took her hands in his own this time. “If you’d made a wish I probably could have come and walked home with you.”
“It’s just a little scratch…”
“This time. But you did say you’d done it stoppin’ yourself from falling.”
___ sighed, though she was touched by his concern. “I can’t try and call you every time I think it might be a bit treacherous weather wise…”
“... No, I suppose not,” Tauxolouve murmured, getting to his feet.
“Lou?”
Tauxolouve turned back to her with a smile. “I’ll handle the cooking tonight. Don’t want you to hurt that hand further.”
Scrambling to her feet, ___ moved over to him. “I can’t ask you to do that… maybe if we cook together again?”
“Alright, little lady, but I’m doing the chopping.”
___ laughed a little. “Lou, you don’t have to…”
“But I want to,” Tauxolouve replied softly, wrapping his arms around her. “And whilst you are right that wishing every time the weather is a bit off seems excessive, perhaps this is a sign I should try and meet you at the planetarium after work more often.”
Returning the hug, ___ smiled softly. “... I'd like that,” she admitted quietly.
The perfect world 😌✨ that should exist.
In a perfect world I break into the game, choke the MC in cold blood and then marry Scorpio and have 3 babies with him.
Have a ✨LOVELY✨ day!
Um... could I maybe request a Hudehaut x Reader comfort fic where reader is trying to deal with the knowledge their mother is dying?
"Mother"
Genre: comfort
Warnings: mentions of death of a family member
A/N: Hello, love.💓💓 I wasn't sure if you meant natural death (as in the reader is thinking of what will come to pass) or due to something like an illness, so I made it more open. If you think I didn't portray it well, please, let me know and I promise to rewrite it to the best of my abilities. I love you.💗💗

The door to Huedhaut's room opened and he greeted you with a smile. "Come on in."
You tried to feign a smile, but the only thing you managed was for your lips to form a straight line as you nodded, acknowledging his presence. "Hey..."
He stepped aside, welcoming you into his room and he inspected you suspiciously as you paased him by.
Turning to face him, you were met with his serious expression. "What is it?" It was pointless to believe he wouldn't catch onto what was going on. Huedhaut knew you better than he knew himself.
"I'm finishing up with some documents and you have my attention, alright?"
You nodded. "Alright." You sat down at the foot of the bed and Huedhaut left a sweet caress on your hair, before moving to his desk.
As he picked up his quill, your eyes wandered to the floor and remained there, your mind frozen in a cold hell. You knew Huedhaut well to know he must've been giving you time to collect your thoughts and you were glad he was so perceptive. Your feet led you here, because your heart couldn't bear to be alone right now.
A hand touched your shoulder softly and pulled you out of the realm of your thoughts, which had become a skein of aching and denial. "Will you tell me what's bothering you?"
Looking deeply into his sapphire eyes, you swallowed thickly. "Hue..." Your vision blurred and when you blinked to clear it, cool tears streamed down your cheeks. "I really don't want to be alone right now..."
"You don't have to be alone." He took a seat beside you and wrapped a hand around your back, pulling you close, so you were resting your temple on his shoulder. "You know you can always talk to me."
"I know. But it's hard to put into words." Your voice kept breaking more and more as you spoke. "When I say it aloud, it becomes even more real... Too real."
Huedhaut gave your body a squeeze and pressed a kiss to the top of your head, remaining silent, so you could speak whenever you wanted to.
You sucked in a deep breath and spared yourself from the suffering of holding it inside you for too long. "My mom is dying." You finally managed to utter.
Huedhaut's hold on you was firm. He breathed in deeply and waited your next words.
"She's dying and I cannot stop it. I'm gonna have to part with her." Your breath hitched, as sobs came forth, the tears thick as they covered your face. "It hurts so much and I can't stop it!"
Huedhaut turned you around and hugged you tightly, your cries muffled by his chest and your tears staining his uniform. "I'm so sorry..." He whispered, truly devastated to hear that. Gods didn't view life and death quite the same as humans, but Huedhaut understood... He understood your heart with all the happinesses and the sorrows it came with. "I'm terribly sorry..."
Your fingers curled, gripping the back of his snowy white jacket tightly, desperate for some sense of comfort you didn't seem to be able to find. You wished you could get lost within his scent and never face the real world again. Alas, that was a wish he could not grant. "I don't want this day to come, ever. But I know it's not up to me. I feel so hopeless..."
Huedhaut's fingers slipped into your hair and began combing through them, gently untangling all of the painful knots formed there. "I know it hurts. Loosing someone you love so deeply... But unfortunately that's a path humans must take. It's going to hurt, but you'll get through it. I promise you that."
"I don't think I will. How will I manage without her in my life?!" You cried, your sobs getting louder and messing with your speech.
"It's how it works. You'll never stop loving her and you will miss her, but I promise you with everything that I am... This unbearable pain will not crash you forever." He said, speaking softly as he rubbed your back to sooth you, his heart breaking as he felt you shaking in his arms. "Humans are born... But then they die... It's natural and it will happen to everyone. Just... Try and think that, your mother will not suffer where she'll go. She'll be in peace. It's those left behind that must bear the loss, but... Life will find it's rightful path again. Everyone and everything will heal one day."
"But what until then...?!" You asked, choking out the words through the tears covering your face and painting a heartbreaking picture out of your features.
"Until then, you'll have me, your friends and everyone else who loves you." He said, kissing your head softly. "You'll never be alone in this. That's another promise I'm making and I will keep."
"Hue..." You breathed.
"Deep breaths now... Let me hold you."
