First day exploring the dual color pencil+marker method! It’s…well it’s a slightly subtler hand than before I can say that. Not in any way I choose to praise.

Which of course, means today’s mermaid is a carp, the featured fish of Children’s day, featured on many a carp flag flown on the day. Go and treat a child or inner child in ur life today!

Junelezen 11- Day

It wasn't the real thing. No, he'd never be allowed there--a place where things lived and died in natural cycles? He wasn't even allowed into the Academia Anyder until after hours and only on specific routes, even then. No one would allow human fly paper like himself to walk into a habitat and catch a lifetime of work up in his web.

But they could show him. Project the vision of a glorious day cycle, watch the lighthouse towers shimmer in the distance, the gentle golden roll of clouds. Breathe deep of air that should have smelled like water and sun, rest in what should have been a breeze. Would have been, if he were allowed to feel it.

It was a truly beautiful day. But he was not truly there to see it.

Mermay 4: Star Wars

Too many themes!! Too many damn themes on this one! Star Wars, Shinichi Kudo’s Birthday, mermaids? Someone was gonna get neglected.

Anyways, happy Birthday Shinichi/Conan! May the Fourth be with you. And whoever handed Culprit-kun a lightsaber get 20 to life.

(In other news, worst application of these pens yet. The alcohol pen makes the lining pen bleed and neither can shade—who knew?)

Mermmay 6: Mushroom

Saw the Mario movie today! It didn’t blow my socks off but it was exactly what you go to the movie for, plus some unexpectedly solid voice work. May the success pave the way for a sequel thats allowed to have a pace that _breathes_ gd.
