So Clover was built by someone who I haven’t decided, who eventually abandoned him because he wasn’t functional, as his limbs wouldn’t stay on, and also he was sentient. He was adopted by Mrs. Penny and her husband Jeff.

Okay while I was doing research for Envy’ Angel and making sure I didn’t just inhale poison (i did, but I’m fine) I stumbled down a rabbit hole about absinthe. Absinthe is apparently like SUPER strong and possibly hallucinogenic alcohol. Cool cool, that’s cool.

This scene makes sooo much more sense now. Like there’s just another layer of OH THATS AWFUL.

(Side note, I also figured out that “Angel Dust” or PCP is a disassociative drug. So yeah, cool day for the hellaverse drugs.)
