A friend on Discord suggested a mermaid swimming through a galaxy of sea stars and I loved the idea so much I had to draw it ⭐ ✨

1. are you named after anyone?

No. My parents have heard the name and were thinking that it is a beautiful name. But I can say that the names from my partenal sides are all old names or nordic descent.

2. when was the last time you cried?

Last year in December when I had a really rough time and a difficult exams preparation. Thanks to my family that have cheer me up.

3. do you have kids?

No. And I am not quite sure if I want some. In the past I was really sure that I wanted some but actually yeah…not sure.

4. do you use sarcasm a lot

Yes…..totally yes. Maybe because of my job. Sometimes only sarcasm helps xD

5. what sports do you play/have you played

When I was younger I was a swimmer and canoeist. Now I make some sports that I like…I often going swimming and canoing. I make some yoga and play volleyball.

6. what's the first thing you notice about other people

They face and look. I often look them in the face and try to find out how they’re mode is. Job related.

Green

8. scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings. Live is scared enough. I didn’t need a bad ending in a movie

Not really and I am not quite sure if talent isn't something that comes from hard work and practice.

Writing, walking and hiking, reading, drawing, listen to music, crochet

Personally not. But my parents have two dogs and my sister and her boyfriend have a dog as well.

5,34 feet I am the little one in my family. Maybe this is why my nickname is Dobby

History, biology and chemistry

Archiologist but someone like Indiana Jones.

Well, well, well, what do we have here? I believe that's Gieve's crest! Pictured below:

Okay on second thought definitely not the same one (my memory is Swiss cheese, you understand), but the similarities are there. Maybe it's the manga version of his crest, modified to fit on a quiver? It's not the same crest directly placed unlike Hilmes', so hmm...

Definitely something to keep an eye out for my next rereads— crests!

1. My first impression of them

“Oh that's one prickly lad,” I'm pretty sure. Okay well, I think past!me was kinda justified in that, he was prickly lol.

11. What’s the first thing you think about when thinking about the character?

Not quite a thought but somehow I attach him with a sense of longing that pops up when he's alone— when he doesn't have tasks and jobs occupying his mind. I don't know why, I don't know what he's yearning for, all I know is that it's a quiet, small thing, not the burning or consuming sort (comparatively, the sense of longing I associate with Arslan is more potent— like drowning, that one) but one that's... I don't know. A sense of loneliness. It's like a summer breeze. I want to hug him.

16. A childhood headcanon

Huh, surprisingly there's not much in terms of a solid headcanon I have for his childhood, except that he was... hm, how do I put it, catatonic? shut off and unresponsive? when he first arrived back to Narsus after his parents passed— struck with grief. He didn't know how to deal with that so he shut it off and buried himself in things to do. He didn't want to think about it, so he didn't. I don't know how things will get there but things end up cumulating in a very young Elam absolutely bawling his eyes out in Narsus' arms because damn let the kid act like a kid.
