Don't Be Afraid

Here’s a big secret of mine, I’m terrified of failing you guys. I’m scared that people will be disappointed in me or that I’ll make that one big mistake that will change the way people think about me. I’m so scared of this that it actually pushes me to constantly chase success. My fears are always pushing me to never be satisfied with what I have now. My fears drive me towards my goals with reckless abandon. My fears make me a better person. No one is truly fearless and everyone has small anxieties that can bog them down. The real secret to being successful in anything, big or small, is using your fear of failure to guide you instead of pushing you away. We will fall, that’s a part of life. But you have to be willing to get back up and see the task through to the end no matter what the costs. Your mind may be detailing what will happen should you fail, but you can also use that to see EXACTLY what you need to do in order to succeed.

No matter how many losses you take, get back up and face your fears over and over because after a while you’ll start to realize that they were never holding you back at all.
