The first spark

Practice doodle with Jamil, I wanted to draw him discovering he had magic when he was younger.

This was loosely inspired by @/mellosdrawings ‘s wings!au. Do check them out!

So, don’t know how much angst you want to add to your Wing au. But this thought has been buzzing around my head for a while.

It isn’t just Jamil who’s having to deal with the pain of losing his wings, it’s his little sister to, the one he is supposed to look after and protect. I just feel it would add so much to Jamil’s hatred towards Kalim and the Asim in general, it isn’t just about him but his family as well.

Take what you want from this, just figured I would throw it out there 🤷‍♀️

Since his original OB was because he thought his whole family was going to be punished for his own wrongdoings (because he genuinely thought the crew had broadcasted his evil plan to the whole world), it was planned that his family's suffering would be the last straw for this AU too.

I'm really happy you (and others) managed to see Najma's involvement coming! I did introduce the concept of family as soon as possible (second post) for a reason and despite not insisting on it as much as I wanted the message still seems to have been understood so I'm glad :3

Baul coming to NRC in hawaiian shirt because Lilia told him it was "How humans dress to show they are coming in peace" is now the best picture I have in mind.

Both grandpa and grandson are similar. The way they drink Lilia's teasing like water is also alike.

I think Baul getting tricked by Lilia would be harder after all the centuries that he’s known him 😂

Doesn’t mean it doesn’t work though, it just takes Lilia more effort with Baul than Sebek.

I can see Lilia telling Baul it’s common to wear Hawaiian shirts on Sage Island, even better, if he told him that he would be matching Sebek.

Next thing you know, Baul is arriving wearing a Hawaiian shirt, shorts, and sandals.

Sebek is surprised and Lilia is laughing before you see Sebek scramble to get his own to match his grandfather.

In fact, Lilia and Malleus has matching Hawaiian shirts that Malleus brought back from Jamil’s hometown. Why don’t they all wear them and match? They can get one for Silver and Sebek at Sam’s shop.

(wouldn’t it be funny if Crowley shows up with that Hawaiian shirt at the same time 😆😂)
