The button line of this episode is one I knew I had to use in an episode. With the setting being what it is, it's impossible that no one would sign off their prayers that way.
In your benevolence,
hear the Observer's plea for the meaning of Low Extremes.

MONSTER GUTS 2e Cover Reveal

I just got the new cover for MONSTER GUTS 2e from Evangeline Gallagher, and it just looks incredible.
You want to own a kick-ass ttrpg about scavengers in an ecologically ruined world hunting big bio-engineered behemoths for their bits with this on the front? Join the Hunt!
So, when I was showing the cover off to my friends, one of them commented that I kinda look like the person on the cover, and I jokingly replied that if the campaign raised 10k, I'd do a cosplay and film me smashing open a paper mache monster loaded up with canned soup.
That's pretty far from our 3k goal, but as a tumblr special, if I can get this to 10k reblogs, I'll at least do the cosplay.
And hey, if you want to maybe see some nerd break open a big paper mache monster and get absolutely splattered with canned soup, the BackerKit's right here.
Oh, and to help get this post there, what's a monster you'd love to hunt and make armor out of?

Meguey and Vincent Baker subtly tweaked the Powered by the Apocalypse formula...
...to emphasize player choice in Under Hollow Hills, their game about a traveling fae circus. In my latest newsletter, I draw some comparisons to the game that started it all, Apocalypse World, to show how the Baker's changed the game again.

At time of writing, you can get Under Hollow Hills in a bundle with about twenty other games and comics. The proceeds of that bundle will go to Meguey Baker's fight against cancer.
Not to be a luvvie, but Annette Badland: what a pro.
It's Audio Drama Sunday!
Here's a glimpse of what's coming up in this week's episode, starring Annette Badland (Ted Lasso, Doctor Who) as the Philosopher.
I originally set this months chapter of A Net Too Wide in one of Vivian Hithercombe's crumbling Gothic mansions outside the city, far from the corridors of power, and then facepalmed when I realised this was clearly the moment for a full circle return to where it all started. The bridge was built in the house on Bronze Street, so there too must it burn.
