Telemachus design for Epic the Musical

Still working on the animation but came up with this design on the spot, it could be better but I'm happy with this. I just needed something besides a basic tunic lol

Yeah Hoyoverse is just colorist, you can see this across their games. And all the brown units are suspiciously either poorly designed or can't compete with the paler units. Such as Arlan from Honkai Star Rail I think the only dark skinned character in that game and many mediocre characters from Genshin Impact such as Cyno, Xinyan, the infamous Dehya herself and others. I like your redesign and others that have been going around, and it's crappy that they completely butchered the representation of your people and culture. I'm African-American so not familiar with the cultural references Genshin is pulling from but it would still be nice to see more brown and black people in game. The darkest character is maybe Kaeya or Xinyan and they are not the best units especially poor Xinyan being left to the wayside. Hopefully there's enough backlash for change.

I'm absolutely furious at how they butchered my culture, not only them being pale, but also none of the designs have traditional clothing at all.

Anyway, I claim xilonen as my own as our names have the same meaning (mines the purépecha ver of the name, not nahuatl)
