I started this yesterday and it was a process. The suit gave me some problems, but I'm pretty satisfied with the result and took some inspiration from other redesigns, such as Love Art23. My design of Angel isn't too accurate of the 40s wear but, I actually like the idea of him being more into modern fashion to express himself. Also he works for Val who is part of the Vees who are a trendy group so, it would make sense for Angel Dust to adopt a similar style as well. The feathers are supposed to symbolize his relationship with Valentino. While the buttons are a reference to Cherri Bomb's old outfit. (If I redesign her I'll give her buttons to match Angel) I was actually thinking X's to represent his friendship with Cherri but it looked weird, so went with buttons as symbolism for Angel trying to hold his life together. Also I like to think Cherri gave him a button as a gift (and she probably has buttons to keep her clothes together due to the explosions). And Angel disliked the hat because of what the feathers represented but decided not to throw it away the hat and instead put a spare button on it, to symbolize that when he's having tough days Cherri will be there to support him. And Angel probably didn't get rid of the hat or feathers because Val gave it to him and doesn't want to have to answer why he doesn't have it. So, yeah hope you like it.

And don't forget DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) "Normal" people won't like you if your disorder and or disability doesn't have an aesthetic they can use for their savior complex or if they can't coddle you. People with these disorders especially ones who are antisocial commonly known as (sociapaths/psychopaths, a term that should be used if the individual is okay with that description of themselves) are still demonized and thought as needing "fixing". Every person deserves to be supported in a way which bests suits their situation and that shouldn't be a polarizing stance.

I was thinking this if they had an art contest or Hoyofair, people should come together to darken these characters like they should be. This controversy will die down in about a week or so, but it can be brought back if people do something like this. Though Hoyo can pick who they want to showcase art of and a lot the Genshin community not all but a lot don't care about what happened or are racist, evident in the Natlan Teaser trailer comments.

When Natlan inevitably gets an art contest fucking BOMBARD them with the darker-skin edits of the Natlan characters. Direct action- FORCE them to acknowledge what people want, what people are pushing for.

An assignment for my ELA class. The topic was drawing a poster of The Seven Deadly Sins, we could do one or more. Most people chose one and I did to all of them. I decided to combine the sins into three characters since I didn't want nor have time to draw all seven. The poster doesn't have the correct colors because I didn't have the markers or color pencils that were accurate enough. The digital version was what I started with to get the colors down then the poster. I like these designs at least the centaur and especially the three headed one. I may draw them again sometime and work on the centaur a little more. Also its mane and tail are meant to be red seaweed since Kelpie's from mythology are said to have seaweed hair that tightens on those who ride it so it can dive into the water and drown them. I believe their bodies are also sticky so I connected oil since the oil industry can be greedy because the substance itself is a valuable resource. The design is supposed to be dark like oil. Also their tails make a thunderous sound against the water, which can tie into Zeus (Eagle represents him). And they symbolize many things but for this design I interrupt it has power (also the spade is meant to resemble a sword). I wanted the crown to look like Poseidon's Trident 🔱 with spades on top. I chose Gods as inspiration because stories from Mythology and the Bible the Gods tend to be prideful and act in Wrath, but still respect from everyone even though they at least once committed genocide. That's all I have to write about, hope you like the designs :)

Gorgeous and I think I prefer it to the original. The patterns on the clothes and fur are cool. I found it a little odd how modern some of the characters looked, especially Xilonen wearing denim shorts it seems.
