It Got Two Notes, Good Enough

It got two notes, good enough

The story starts with him, ya know, coming into existence. I'll be for this using Midnight Motorist Orange Guy as William's father. 'That Place' is Fredbears Family Diner, a beloved family business (not the Aftons, we'll get to that). Young William had, as you see in the minigame, a pretty miserable home life, so whenever he had the money saved he would go the Fredbears. They had good food, low prices, and sometimes they would show a cartoon from a previous generations attempt to break into animation (based on the old fliers you can find in ruin). Time went on, William grew up, but he was unable to attend college due to a lack of anywhere affordable nearby. Despite this, he had some degree of savings, so when he saw a 'going out of business' sign in the Fredbears window, he decided for lack of a better plan to try to save his childhood safe place.

And for a time, it worked! He'd been loving this place as long as he could remember, of course he had ideas. He added another character, Springbonnie, and made suits of the characters so a kid could get their birthday cake served by Fredbear himself. Some local tragedy orphaned three children, but he was at this point doing well financially and beloved by the town, so he adopted them (there's never mention of him having a partner in the games, and this leads to the children further being a symbol of the good times in his life).

And then

Another business opens. And this one doesn't have suits, with all their handmade charm. It's got Machines, and the children are too excited by these sudden new character to care about the jerkier movements, the lack of human touch. Things turn for the worse at Fredbears, until eventually William too must prepare to end this place of joy. Only for Henry Emily, the bastard who started the new joint to offer to buy, with William as an equal partner! He doesn't know the tears and anger he brought, he thinks himself simply a fellow restaurateur! And the fact he didn't even know makes William all the angrier.

Despite this, from the outside things looked amiable enough for a time. William was willing to try spring-lock suits, it was better than full animatronics. And then the situation degraded.

The bite of '83.

It wasn't enough for Henry to take his restaurant, now one of his children was dead! It wasn't logical, yes, but neither was William at this point. He began to fall into drink, and the town began to worry. And then, one night, he was driving through town. He had had several drinks, but it's been established he wasn't particularly reasonable. He turned into the street The New Fredbears was on, and he saw her. Henry's daughter, alone in the cold and rain. Even he was later unable to recall whether it was rage or drink that turned the wheel, but his car took a turn. He hastily threw the body into an alley and hurried along his way, but he couldn't help but notice how he felt. This joy was rather unlike what he'd had before, a darker thing. Bloodier. If he couldn't have Fredbears as it should be, if he couldn't have safe children, why should anyone?

Feel free to tell me how I did. This isn't a theory or anything, it's just a way I think his whole thing could make a bit more sense

Also, I wrote this from kind of a semi-Afton perspective? describing things as he saw them, with all the spite that would go with it

Hey anyone wanna hear how I'd improve the character of William Afton if that power was given to me despite the obvious foolishness of doing so

Hey do I need to know anything about computers or coding to do an ARG?

Sometimes I get ideas for really fucked up puzzles I could use, but I'm a fool without practical knowledge

Hey folks, is there any way for me to play Half-Life games?

I've got a Mac with one of those M chips so bootcamp won't work. The only alternative there I've seen has a decent sized price on the subscription, so that's a no. No Vr. For consoles, There's a Switch which I'm aware is useless here and an Xbox S, and as far as I know they recently took away the only way to get any Half-Life game on that. If your solution involves a decent knowledge of computers or technology, it is lost on me. I am a fool.

Am I just screwed?

For anyone familiar with the work of musician DaGames, could you tell me

Are they a poetic genius beyond my comprehension, or simply someone who writes what sounds good without regard for logic?

I sometimes almost understand, but then the prose eludes me.

Help
