I'm the girl who gets paid to give tragically foreshadowing names to scifi space program missions. my first ever job was naming a colony "troy", still proud of that one. yea you'd never guess what happened to it. years long orbital siege, oof. uhh sent off a solar probe called the "Icarus", yea it melted. oh! pair of colony ships called the Romulus and the Remus, no prizes for guessing. it's a pretty good job really. still no space elevator tho

(Possibly) Fun fact: A surprising amount of words originated from christianity. Goodbye? God-be-with-ye. By jove? Jove was another name for Jupiter, the main Roman god, and the olden days "don't take the lord's name in vain" folks thought it was ok if you called him by another name. Zounds? God's wounds. Look it up, these are all true.
I use them without religious meaning though, just think etymology is cool
