What I love about this scene in Takiawase is the symbolic significance of Will being shown the truth BY HANNIBAL. It's a seductive precursor to the day they finally share a memory palace. And then there’s that wonderful lingering look at the end, when dream and reality blur. The fact that it’s Will who is imagining it shows that he’s becoming ever more aware of the true nature of Hannibal’s interest in him. Hence, in three episodes’ time, the salmon shirt and murder curl of seduction!
Will: You know what I’ve always wondered? How do tall people like you actually sleep at night when the blanket can’t possibly cover you from your shoulders to your toes?
Hannibal: Will, it’s four o'clock in the morning.
Will: So you can’t sleep, huh?
Hannibal:
Will: …Is it the blanket?
