Curlfeather has her arm playfully wrapped around Frostpaw, covering her daughter's eyes, and Frostpaw is laughing. They both look joyful and lighthearted, but Curlfeather's other paw is bloodied and holding a star shaped leaf. They are surrounded by reeds on some misty marshland and the ground around them is stained faintly with blood. Behind them, there are two dots in a fog cloud faintly resembling the eyes in the sihouette of a dog. End ID.

Curlfeather miserably watches her daughter leave, but makes no move to stop her. Curlfeather is mangled with thick red scars that look like fresh wounds, one of which tears her muzzle and exposes some teeth. Her body seem knitted together from wound to wound by seam-like scars. Half her tail and one ear is torn off. Frostpaw has two stiched and healed wounds, on her flank and the side of her throat. Curlfeather is dripping with murky dark forest mud. The background is muddy with warm colours, with some cool purple and stars ahead of Frostpaw. End ID.
