It's an early night, all bats outside in patrol (a privilege Tim lost ever since his pack decided he was to be a mother), Alfred busy in the kitchen. Of course Ra's would appear, that arrogant smile of his being the closest thing to bring a feeling to Tim's body.

It's - nothing.

As always, Ra's has been waiting in the shadows, perhaps even amused at the bats' game. Tim can tell that Ra's is satisfied, probably even overjoyed at his past words becoming true.

Fourteen months ago, Ra's and Tim had seen each other for the last time. And Ra's had laughed cruelly and coldly, saying that Tim wouldn't find happiness in that ridiculous pack of his nor in playing mother for them. But Tim was a bat, and he couldn't just run away with a villain. So, he had pretended not to listen.

Now they are here, with Ra's chuckling at the view of Tim's failed motherhood.

"I could fix this," Ra's proposes, a familiar warm hand cupping Tim's face, managing to make the omega feel, "If you come with me."

Tim looks at the baby he-feels-nothing-for sleeping peacefully. They don't even know their mother hates them.

"... Okay," Tim gives up. After all, he hasn't been a real mother. At least as an orphan the baby will hate Tim less.

"Good," Ra's purrs, carrying Tim off the floor, walking to the balcony & jumping away from the manor.

Tim knows it's wrong. But he can't bring himself to care.

Like, okay, everyone can like their own ships, that's kinda my whole thing here. But this tendency of bashing Clex in order to prop up ANOTHER non canon ship is insane. Specially because as you all pointed out to OP, Lex and Clark have a long, painful and complex history together.

Again and again, we see each other being incapable of staying away. They have been tied for so long that they might not know what to do without the other.

If people don't like Clex then fine (I literally don't care), but they need to stop pretending it doesn't have the content it has in DC media. Denying all the comics and others showing Clex being almost intimately close to each other is almost as delusional as denying Clois media. Because it's there, whether you like it or not.

And, lastly, putting ship bashing on a ship tag is extremely rude. Which I'm used to, as a fan of certain ships who also have to deal with haters like this one above. Still, rude! Don't do that, people.

say what you will about superbat vs clex, but at least Bruce wants to fuck Superman AND Clark Kent. Lex really can’t say the same, huh?

Ra'sTim as a ship still is a huge thing for me, and I adore our small yet loving community. I did not recommend fics that are extremely popular as I would like to share less known but not less amazing stories. I also didn't recommend stories coming from - let's say anti fandom, that mistreats Ra's in order to prop up another ship or even as a mere racist caricature.

I really really need the Ra'sTim baby to be the antichrist if only because it's funny.

Ra's, an heretic. Tim, an atheist. And their baby is the incarnation of the eternal fight between good and evil meant to end it all.

Tim and Ra's can't believe it. Tim thinks their baby (Anthony) is too adorable as to be the antichrist! Although the fact that his baby spits fire, has fangs and manipulates everything around him might not be so normal.

Ra's? Ra's went to visit Lucifer himself and asked if he had screwed his spouse. Lucifer laughed, and said "It was only written the antichrist would be born from a devil and his spouse. They never specified which devil."

In the end, Ra's and Tim just embrace that Anthony might bring the world to its destruction. Or maybe he will calm down and just be Ra's 2.0, except he has cool magic and Tim's eyes.

It's adorable tho. Anthony is a mamma's boy, and he will stop all evil he's doing whenever Tim is close, raising his little chubby hands and begging to be carried. When Tim sings him to sleep, Anthony becomes a truly angelic baby.
