i saw some thread on xitter with some dude asking why drag queens "want to be around children so much" re: story hours and all the replies were either predictably disgusting or very defensive but not a single goddamn one of them answered the question so i will help in case anyone ever asks you this incredibly stupid question: they are clowns!! drag queens are just clowns!! they put on extremely silly makeup and huge wigs and bright clothes and do over-the-top performances that make people laugh and smile and sometimes cry. that is the definition of a clown. they like to perform for children because they are a type of clown and children are great audiences and it is not any deeper than that. god damn.

ok but thoughts in my head while walking home yesterday – floating timeline spidey college five all sprawled out together in harry and peter’s apartment doing fuck all, eating whatever they can scrounge from the disaster boys fridge, and the conversation starts drifting to trying to cast themselves as other famous fivesomes (peter: no i fucking hate this game i always get cast as the asshole. everyone: *long blinks at him*)

they get caught up in a long and drawn out conversation trying to figure out themselves as the breakfast club and there’s a lot of backing and forthing about who gwen, mj, peter, and harry are – and after like 15 minutes of debate flash just chimes in like – ‘yeah but what about me guys?’ and the others just look at him like 'flash. you’re the jock.’ 'wtf! you don’t know! i can be a rebel!’ 'flash you cried last weekend bc your favourite shinguards were discontinued. jock.’
