I've been thinking about aromantic Hualian for a few minutes, and I've come to the conclusion that it looks exactly like regular Hualian from the outside. They're still obsessed with each other. Hua Cheng still gives Xie Lian literally everything he could want x3000. They still kiss and spend all their time together and get married (they're too clingy not to).

I think the one big difference is that for them, "best friend" is the highest form of endearment. They call each other "best friend" even after "husband" makes more sense.

i feel like post canon hualian would go into ghost city with disguises(masks, outfits, etc.) hua cheng would be reluctant at first, "we could go outside anytime without disguises", but then xie lian would insist and they would have the best time ever just hanging out and doing normal couple stuff
