Maybe Scott goes to the future and then back to the present somehow? I sent an outline of what I think the teaser and TV spot footage might be of but didn't include that idea since I just thought of it now. I'm also starting to wonder if maybe Tony quits being a hero after he gets back and then he needs to be roped back in (most likely by Steve because this is a Stevetony event only).

I am wondering this now (at least how Scott fits in and where Tony comes into play). So, at the Compound, we see all the Avengers + allies (minus Tony, Carol, Clint, and Nebula) geared up heading for action:

Nat’s got her batons strapped to her back, Steve has his shield, Rhodey’s in his War Machine armor, Scott appears to be in his Ant-Man suit. [Of note? I think Carol is edited out of this scene; I think she’s the person between Rhodey and Scott.]

I am thinking this scene is shortly before this one, where Nat and Steve are discussing a plan aboard the Quinjet:

And I am guessing the shield scene from the new trailer?

Happens after that, after some sort of battle, because Steve’s fingers are now all dirty and he’s wearing his stealth suit. Earlier I incorrectly assumed this might be immediately post-IW because of the state of Steve’s hands, but, taking a closer look at his gloves/uniform, this is definitely his stealth suit.

What’s interesting is that the Avengers are suited up and heading out before… 

Tony gets back (OR, if Tony has gotten back by this time, he has definitely quit being an Avenger since he’s clearly not going with them wherever they’re off to) 

Clint enters the picture, because it appears Nat touches base with Clint some time into the future because her hair is longer in the scene where she meets Clint in the rain.

The scene of Natasha shooting targets, because her hair is longer and in a braid. 

So my question: where are the Avengers going? Does something go wrong? Is Natasha one of the only few to walk away from this mission? If so, is that possibly why she tracks down Clint? If this is post-Tony returning, where are Tony and Nebula? Did Tony retire to settle down? Or is he too mentally scarred to participate, boarded up in his lab instead?

Is steve bleeding in this?

Look at under his hand in the begining of the gif, it looks like a drop of blood. And his hand is shaking before he straps it, theres a hint of hesitation. UhOH.

That literal one second of the tv spot where all the victims of the snap were shown in gray and RED! what the fuck does that mean? was it for the aesthetic? was it to symbolize something? (like the reality stone which is RED!)  WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!
