and then eventually she dies bc of the baby and ari just relives the moments where he strokes her hair and holds her tight in the middle of the night, basically unable to breathe knowing that she'll die one day and he'll be the cause. or he tries to remember the texture of her skin and her soft smiles and kisses, how he wished he did everything different, how he wished he held her and called it "making love" like she did, how he wished he gave her everything.

and then he finds those diaries and it absolutely breaks him knowing everyone around her also treated her awful, and he was the cause of it, and he loves her so much and her grave is always filled with flowers-
