I sketched Enya’s new design a few months ago on what was planned to be a junk page because marker had bled through from the other side, but then I really liked it and I had a few new design ideas for Faas, so I drew him too, and then I realized I had enough space for Mable and-

So I colored them all and drew on random scraps of paper to glue on top of the marker bleeds. I don’t know why I’m so happy with it, but it’s one of my favorite art pieces in a while because usually I’m not particularly spontaneous, but things happened, so.

This was the traditional drawing I was referring to about Mable’s hair texture. This is what it’s supposed to look like. Also I’m still trying to decide whether it translates that she’s wearing tights, I feel like it sort of does, but idk.

I have more reasons but I don’t have the energy to write them right now.

But yeah, I’ve been thinking about what I’d be if I were in Faas and Enya’s universe and I thought I’d be a changeling as well for a while for many reasons, but upon further consideration I think I was wrong. So here’s the first concept art for a my avian persona.

As for the songs (which was one of the main influences on why I started thinking about avians because I realized that over the last six months the majority of songs I’ve been obsessed with have bird centric undertones at the very least) you can find them here

So I was playing on my survival world and found this cave (pictured below cut) and my brain went MMMMMM ART. Except I don’t do landscapes. Or backgrounds. Therefore. Um. This is the third time I’ve drawn this scene from scratch and the only one I actually like. However, I do actually really like it, so there’s that. I was trying to do lineless in the previous two and it did not work, so I ran in the absolute opposite direction. And the fact that the art even exists is a miracle because I was very close to just throwing my hands in the air. But. I’m happy I did not. Cuz I did a background and it doesn’t look bad actually.

I finally finished it and got the makeup and everything- The respirator is made from painted foam core, the the tnt is cut PVC pipe with red constriction paper glued to it, and the overalls were based loosely on a pair of overalls I had already, but brought the waist up and changed a few things here and there. Overall really happy with how this came out and I’ve warn the overalls casually an embarrassing number of times because I just really love how they fit and look.

This is Eden, im still working on his backstory, but I do know that he’s the fourth born royal child, proceeding the miscarriage of the fourth child.
