I finally finished it and got the makeup and everything- The respirator is made from painted foam core, the the tnt is cut PVC pipe with red constriction paper glued to it, and the overalls were based loosely on a pair of overalls I had already, but brought the waist up and changed a few things here and there. Overall really happy with how this came out and I’ve warn the overalls casually an embarrassing number of times because I just really love how they fit and look.

I just realized I never posted this and I’m so mad because I love how her design came out and I just love her in general. There are many things I’d like to divulge about her, but on the off chance I ever actually write this story, I’d rather keep them to myself for now. What I will say tho, is that she’s a detective/hunter for the UCR (Unseelie Court Regulations) which, as the name suggests, are responsible for policing peoples and creatures who fall under the definition of Unseelie Court (and both trolls/troll changelings and kelpies do). There’s a completely different justice system that deals with the Seelie Court and non magic folk.

But anyway. Yeah. This is Mable. She’s- she’s a funky little bean, but I love her very much. Also, she needs sleep so bad, bless her-

So I’ve been wanting an excuse to make techno fanart for a while and I’ve been having really bad art block the last few days, but I found the picture below the cut and just. I figured why not.

So I was playing on my survival world and found this cave (pictured below cut) and my brain went MMMMMM ART. Except I don’t do landscapes. Or backgrounds. Therefore. Um. This is the third time I’ve drawn this scene from scratch and the only one I actually like. However, I do actually really like it, so there’s that. I was trying to do lineless in the previous two and it did not work, so I ran in the absolute opposite direction. And the fact that the art even exists is a miracle because I was very close to just throwing my hands in the air. But. I’m happy I did not. Cuz I did a background and it doesn’t look bad actually.
