I was wandering around Manchester and came across a little pub/cafe thing called "The Granada"

And I was like "wait.... Is there a chance it's called that because it's on the site where the TV studio was?"

I need to look into it more but yeah, I'm assuming it is and that's the site where the original Coronation Street and Granada Holmes sets were.

Bloody hell, I am SO happy that I'm not the only one who has thought about this! I agree with Sherlock being The Eye/The Web aligned/connected, but if we're talking about BBC Mycroft, I always thought of him being attached to The Lonely in some way because of that one scene where Sherlock calls him out for secretly being very lonely, and Mycroft seems a bit on edge as he tries to deny it. As for John, I can't decide if he'd go better with The Slaughter or The Hunt, but I TOTALLY see where he could be connected to The Lonely too.

I imagine Podcast John to look like a mix of Martin Freeman's John from BBC's Sherlock and Michael Sheen with his famous beard and curly hair...But with the goofiest dimpled smile you have ever seen, covered in freckles, and stocky. As for Podcast Sherlock, I don't really know. I keep going back and forth for designs in my head, but I like several fanart's depictions of him. So I'll go with that.

What really gets me going in reading the original Sherlock Holmes stories and seeing the way Watson and Sherlock address eachother and speak of eachother with such casual affection and adoration. Like Doyle wasn’t hiding anything, it isn’t subtext at all.

The way Watson speaks of him and his brilliant mind and way of living is like when you’re in love and enchanted for the first time and you don’t even realize it. Like who knew the greatest love story of all time was two raggedy men in a flat in London? Like I’m floored everytime I read it
