Phoenix Wright/Miles Edgeworth:

One of the best examples of friends to strangers to “enemies” to lovers. Despite being technically enemies they still help each other through the game. The way they talk to each other is extremely telling of their relationship. You can really just feel the tension between these two. The fact Phoenix becomes a lawyer just to have a chance at seeing Edgeworth again(after knowing him for like a few months when they were kids).The whole “unnecessary feelings” line Edgeworth gives. The unwavering trust Phoenix puts in Edgeworth through the last case of the game.

Bruno Bucciarati/Leone Abbacchio:

After Abbacchio was kicked out of the police force and fell into depression and alcoholism, Bruno pulled him out of the gutter and recruited him into the mafia. Even though Abbacchio hates basically everyone, he still respects Bruno and is insanely devoted to him. He canonically says "I only feel at ease when following the orders of something great and absolute" (the source of my bruabba tag) while Bruno's face is on the screen. When Bruno SPOILERS betrays the boss, END OF SPOILERS Abbachio is the first person to follow him. He says "I've never had a home or a place I've wanted to go. The only time I'm at ease is when I'm with you, Bucciaratti."

this is an actual take I fully agree on. im a guy that needs subtitles on most things and when swears or various other things are skipped out or replaced it actually ruins the whole thing. keep the captions accurate!!!!!!!

I absolutely hate how captions don’t include swear words, like what it’s fine for people to say it but not to write it down? i’m out here just guessing what’s going on/lip reading if possible, if it’s aloud to be said then it should be in the captions as well!! i know that swear words don’t actually add much context or whatever but once i was watching a thing on World War 2 and it kept skipping words and i had no idea what was happening. fucking stupid.
