Happy birthday to our very own Arrow Dynamics suspended coaster, The Bat at Kings Island! My boy is turning 31 this year!

coaster enthusiast kings island theme parks coaster birthdays the bat kings island the bat I missed Woodstock's Air Rail's birthday this year guys and on it's first year of its new name! anyways I love the bat I wish that it had more theming though or...any theming for that matter the station building is shaped like an aircraft carrier from back when it was top gun & flight deck so that's pretty cool and there's still an American flag painted in the queue but no spooky bats no signs Nothin' I mean if KI put up a rubber bat in the station somewhere I'd probably be satisfied.../hj but yeah we love the bat here it's pretty forceful the further back you sit and if you ask me the pepper grinder-type beat that is the anti-rollback system is always a bop going up the hill lol 11 DAYS UNTIL KINGS ISLAND OPENING DAY!!!

I love being a theme park lore hunter/in the theme park lore fandom, because the different tones of different parks are always so funny to me.

Kings Island Lore: YOU SEE THOSE ROLLER COASTERS OVER THERE??? THEY’RE ACTUALLY PARANORMAL HOTSPOTS!!! THERE’S MONSTERS LURKING IN THE WOODS OF RIVERTOWN!!! THERE’S AN EXTINCTION-LEVEL METEOR STORM COMING SOON!!! ALIEN ABDUCTIONS!!! THE GOVERNMENT IS LYING TO YOU!!!

Holiday World Lore: The magic storm bird helped the nice colonists to America! The Halloween section might canonically be Sleepy Hallow! Grandma Gracy ran out of her award-winning thanksgiving gravy & you have to help her make more! Good Gravy might be a company apparently??? And they sell crayons??? We really like birds! Did we mention that we like birds?
