The gatekeeping within the alt community is getting ridiculous. Some of y’all are literally bullying each other for slightly different styles of clothing, listening to certain bands/artists, and/or being part of different subcultures. It’s disgusting and hypocritical. Hating on anything new doesn’t make you cool. Hating on anything “mainstream” doesn’t make you cool either. You can be alt and like different things. E-KIDS ARE ALT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. We really have to stop hating on every new subculture. Y’all did the same thing to emos in the early 2000’s. Some of y’all STILL do. Fashions change.
