Leo:*sigh* I have no regards for my personal safety

Homework

Percy massaged his throbbing temples as he glanced at Annabeth, who was diligently doing her work. He groaned and stared blankly into the sheet of paper on the desk.

“You know, just because you’re glaring at your homework doesn’t mean you could scare it and make the answers pop-up”  

“Well, you don’t know unless you try”

Annabeth chuckled at the childish boy who was now giving his math homework a death glare. She sat up from her position and strode towards Percy, setting herself down beside him.

“Come on Perce, you need to finish that today”

“I hate math,” Percy mumbled, finally giving up on glaring at the paper. He turned to face Annabeth and questioned,

“Why do I even have to learn math?” “It’s not like I will ever need it.”

“Because, you need it to get your degree. Plus, it can come in handy someday”

“It’s not like I’m gonna be facing a monster who would only die when I answer a math question correctly.”

Annabeth intertwined their hands together. “The Sphinx exists, why would that even be impossible, you could even encounter one someday. Who knows?”

Percy grinned, recalling their adventure in Daedalus’ labyrinth several years ago. “It would be fine cause I know you’d be right by my side answering those equations, Wise Girl.”

“How do you know that I’d be by your side, seaweed brain?”

Percy shrugged, “I just know”

“You really aren’t going to do your homework aren’t you”

“Nope!” Percy said, popping the ‘p’ at the end.

“How about we make a deal?” Annabeth offered.

“What kind of deal?” he asked, skeptically quirking his eyebrows.

“We’re going to visit your mom on the weekends, right?” the latter slowly nodded his head as she continued “For every question you get wrong on the assignment, I get to take a cookie from you. For every question right, you get to take one from me.”

“What if I get every question right?”

“You can take all my cookies”

“Deal!” Percy said almost instantly. Annabeth chuckled, knowing that her plan worked and that Percy would end up sharing his cookies with her, anyway.

The weekends came, and it contented Percy to have had twice as much cookies than usual.

Percy: *Hits arm on the table*

Percy: Ow! My armkle!

Piper: Your what?

Annabeth: His wrist

Genie: I’m here to grant your one wish

Piper: Isn’t there supposed to be three?

Genie: ONE WISH!

Piper: Scam

Genie: What did you say you little-

Jason: Hey genie, I wish for more wi-

Genie: You can’t wish for more wishes

Jason: ...

Piper: Wish for more genies

Nico: Do you ever just want to gently hold someone’s face in your hands, looks into their eyes lovingly and then violently jerk their head to a right angle and snap their neck?

Everyone: ...

Jason: Well that took an unexpected turn

Leo: So did their neck

Percy: *laughing* I’m dying

Annabeth: So is that person
