Percy Jackson Headcanons

He’s an extreme dog person. When he finally gets one, him and the dog becomes inseparable

He’s an amazing cook. Literally everything he cooks is a masterpiece.

He likes designing his dishes. Both him and Annabeth spends several minutes in decorating the food and making it looks as presentable as possible even if they’re the only one who’s gonna eat it

He likes learning how to do different hairstyles. Whenever Annabeth is busy,he just sits behind her and tries practicing different hairstyles on her

He’s the one who always buys pads/tampons for the girls. He doesn’t give a fuck about the looks people give him. He’s just super chill about it

I just have a really strong feeling he doesn’t like coffee. He prefers something light like tea or sometimes even milk

He loves fuzzy socks. He has a drawer full of them. All in different colors and designs

He likes gaming. He can sit and game the entire day if it wasn’t for Annabeth and Sally asking him to stop.

He plays stuff like fortnight, Valorant, Counter-Strike, and all other games like that. But he also really enjoys the community and farming games. The soft, cute type of games like Stardew Valley, Ooblets, Hokko Life and stuff like that.

He’s amazing at tuning out people and he hides it well. Sometimes, he looks like he’s listening but he’s actually not

He’s that guy with tons of sweatshirt and hoodies

He knows people can’t say no to him when he pouts or give them the puppy eyes and he uses it to his advantage

He actually like working out a lot. Even out of camp, he’d go to the gym and he’d work out almost everyday

He has an amazing voice but it took a while before people find out cause most of the time, when he’s singing, he’s goofing around

He has a nervous habit of bouncing his leg, clasping his hands together so tight they turn white, and sometimes biting his nails

He’s amazing with kids. He loves goofing around and spending time with them

He enjoys ruffling people’s hair

His has tons of pictures of her and Annabeth. He also have tons of it displayed in their home

He likes photography

He becomes everyone’s hype person. He would comment about the smallest things like, “Nice shoes” or “Love the new hairstyle” when he passes by a camper and it makes their day

After getting the SPQR thingy, he’s been thinking about getting tattoos and he does. But he gets the small ones

Whenever he return to CHB for summer, he brings gifts. Lost of them are from Sally but Percy also picked up a few little things for the kiddos in camp

He does the one hand thing when he drives and he looks super hot when he does it

He likes blasting music in the car

He has mixed emotions about his birthday after the war and it messed him up pretty bad for awhile

Ever since the war, he went with really small and simple birthdays. To him, all that mattered was that the people he loved was there with him and that he was able to live a year longer and be with all his loved ones

Just some Percabeth Headcanons for the soul <3

Percy has class really early in the morning and Annabeth has hers a little bit later so they can’t usually meet up at mornings. But, Percy doesn’t just accept it and let it go. Instead, every morning, he leaves a sticky note on Annabeth’s locker. It would either be a “Have a good day, love <3” or when he knows she’s going to have a test, he’d write words of encouragement. And they would always put a smile on her face and fuel her

Annabeth keeps all the sticky notes Percy gave her in this cute little container and when Percy found it, he almost burst into tears of joy because he never thought she’d keep those.

Percy would let Annabeth rant on and on about the books she’s reading. He may not understand a word, but he listens and lets her get excited over it.

Annabeth would take Percy on hours of book shopping. Sometimes, they’d even go from one bookshop to another just to find the book Annabeth is looking for

Annabeth also goes with Percy on hours of skateboard shopping. Percy is really indecisive so they stay in the shop for hours just trying to choose and find something that Percy really wants

Believe it or not, but Percy is a pretty responsible student. And when he’s in front of his screen all day getting stressed on assignment, Annabeth would come behind him and massages his shoulders a little to help him relax and Percy just melts in her touch

When Percy haves a bad day, Annabeth can immediately tell. So, she just sits on the couch and pats her lap. Percy immediately walks over to her and lies his head on her lap while she plays with his hair and kisses the top of his head. Whenever she does that, all of Percy’s stress and and problems just seems to vanish

Whenever Annabeth is down, and feeling like crap, she’d sit in a corner hugging her knees and Percy would come close to her and lift her head up with both hands on the side of her face, squishing her cheeks and he just kisses every part of her face. The eyes, nose, lips, cheeks, just everywhere while saying words of encouragement and endearment.

Whenever Annabeth is having a bad day, Percy would just open his arm and Annabeth would run to his embrace for comfort and Percy would soothe her and kiss her temple.

He would also bake cookies for annabeth and make her hot coco to make her feel better

When Percy is down, Annabeth would sit in front of him and make him look at her. She’s not the best at making jokes but during these times, she attempts to do so to cheer Percy up and it works. He tries to hide that it’s actually working but he fails cause Annabeth is saying a horrible joke while staring at Percy dead in the eyes. Later on, they’re just flirting while cracking up jokes.

Sometimes, she intertwines their fingers and bring up fun memories while playing with Percy’s fingers and they end up just laughing and talking about all their quests from the past. After that, Annabeth would list down the reasons why Percy is so amazing and Percy would cry in her arms

Percy games and sometimes, Annabeth would sit in his lap and snuggle close to him while he does so

Percy makes it his goal to make sure he gets to take Annabeth in every place she wants to be. He’d take him to every architectural monument, museums, etcetera etcetera

They would binge watch shows together. They’d stay up all night just watching Disney shows and stuff like that. They just stay cuddled in a blanket as they tentatively watch their shows

When they watch something interesting, Annabeth’s eyes never leaves the TV and she’s just like a statue. She doesn’t move. So, Percy does the honors to feed her popcorn and let her have a sip of her drink for her

Sometimes, Percy lays her head on Annabeth’s shoulder and Annabeth feeds him the popcorn/chips cause Percy is just too lazy to move

Every Sunday, they sit down in the dining table with hot coco in their hands and they just have a recap of their week, they’d tell each other stories they didn’t have time to tell each other before. They basically just sit and chit chat. Sometimes even gossip

They would go in late night drives and jam to blasting music at night. They literally scream the lyrics out and they just enjoy the car ride

It’s tradition that they’d stop by at this one ice cream shop and buy ice cream and eat it together while just gazing at the stars

Annabeth Chase Headcanons

When someone presumes she’s dumb cause she’s blond, she shuts up about it. She’ll just show them that they’re absolutely wrong. Like, she’d ace every test they get and she’s just satisfied in proving people wrong

She’d work with coffee on her side, fuzzy socks, scattered papers, and a messy bun

She loves the sound of the rustling of leaves when there’s strong winds

Starbucks. She has daily runs to that place. She literally cannot go a day without it

We all already know that she’s amazing at any type boardgame there is

When she watches Rom Coms, she’d always compare the male protagonist to Percy and sometimes, she’d just sit there and appreciate how lucky she is to have him

She also love horror movies cause she just loves judging how stupid the characters can get

She likes she likes both fiction and non fiction books but she prefers fictional. She likes it better cause it’s the type of books that can really hook her attention. She likes a few non fiction books tho and most of them are really angsty or romancy.

She is an Ambivert

She can get really really awkward

When she can’t get something right, she’s not the type to give up, she’d try and try again until she gets it

Since she’s an extreme perfectionist, the minor details in her assignments always matters to her, she could spend hours in just one assignment just to perfect it

She’s really difficult to scare, Percy would try time and time again only to fail

She bites her pens, they have several teeth marks on them. Every pen

When she’s home, all she wears are shorts, Percy’s hoodies or shirts and fluffy socks

She has a kitty sneeze. People either make fun of her or awe at her

She’s both a cat and a dog person. But when they get a pet Annabeth adores it and sometimes, pays more attention to it then Percy so he gets jealous over an animal

She can cook, but she’s not the best at it so she just leaves the cooking to Percy

However, when it’s like a celebration like Percy’s birthday or if she just feels like surprising him, she spends hours in the kitchen to cook

Percy got her into gaming and she likes playing the world building games or the wholesome little farm games cause she just loves the animation and she thinks they’re so cute

She has an organized computer. She has folders for different types of files, she names them really nicely and she just arranges everything

She also has a really organized aesthetic computer

But when it comes to hard copies, she’s pretty messy. I mean, she still has specific places for them and all that but sometimes, all her files are literally all over the place

She doesn’t show it but she’s a sucker for nicknames

She always ruffles her hair when she’s stressed and that leads to it getting extremely tangled

She uses the pencil, ruler, pen, a chapstick or anything she can see to use to stick her bun into place.

Then when she needs them, she’d wonder where it went cause she forgets it’s in her hair

She’s amazing at using chopsticks. She can chopstick basically everything

Cup noodles. When she’s too busy to have a proper meal, she eats cup noodles instead. She just has a whole ass stack of it

She’s also very irritable when she’s really stressed. That’s when you know she’s about to breakdown from the stress anytime soon

She’s amazing at giving people advice. Sometimes, people just randomly opens up to her and she gets extremely shocked about it

She’s a pretty reserved person. She knows how to have some fun, though

She has her own box of snacks cause she can

She loves late night walks. It just gives her peace and she loves it

She is an over thinker, she can act as if something someone says doesn’t bother her but she’d think about it 24/7 until she decides to actually confront the person

Her body knows when she needs to sleep still and when she can move around. It’s a talent

It is a must for her to be hugging something in her sleep

She showers at night

She loves her girl times. It’s one of the best times for her

She has so many unnecessary pens. But she never has any black pens

When she’s thinking about something while she’s working, she constantly swivels her chair from side to side just staring blankly in the wall

Because she spends quite a lot of time with Rachel, she really likes doodling

She has this small notebook that is just filled with her sketches. She usually sketch cute simple things like a stack of books or a mug of coffee and whatnot

She has very pretty handwriting. Like, really pretty

There’s been several times when she used her pencil or her ruler to stir her mug of coffee and then when she uses the pen or ruler, she wonder why tf it’s wet and sticky

No offense to Annabeth stans but y’all need to chill. Whenever someone calls another character smart, it doesn’t mean that Annabeth isn’t. Stop making it a personal offense and move on. She can’t be the only smart character in the book

Things you forgot in the PJO/HoO series

Every other character aside from Percy, Annabeth, Nico and Leo

Over the months, Percy hadn’t been able to talk to Annabeth about it and the situation causes a change in demeanor for him. He felt so alone — Grover was gone, Thalia was a Huntress, He still felt kind of awkward and guilty around Nico, His mom was too busy with his younger sibling, and he didn’t feel like talking about it to anyone else. Everyone notices the change in Percy, he’s sadder, and more irritable — though he tries his best not to let his anger get the best of him. So most of the time, he’s usually just sad and alone. People tried confronting him but he doesn’t pay them any mind

There are two people who have their eyes keen on Percy though — Thalia and Nico. Nico knows somethings terribly wrong but he doesn’t really want to push Percy’s button. And Thalia notices something wrong on her first visit to the camp after the war, and maybe she kinda knows what going on. She’d seen Percy once like this before. Anyways, Nico and Thalia talked about it, but they’d both agreed not to confront Percy for the meantime.

But time progressed and nothing changed and one of them (either Nico or Thalia) sees Percy by the edge of the lake alone, staring into the distance and they finally decide confront him. And at first he denies and tries to push them away, then it’s followed by him becoming tight lipped. And finally, he breaks. All the frustration, the anger, the sadness it finally breaks. And it reached the point where he was basically gasping for air, his chest hurting from the pain and his head starting to hurt from everything. And it was so painful to see Percy so broken

Bonus if he actually passes out crying

Percy knew it was irrational. It’s not like Annabeth had side-lined him for Piper. Since boarding the Argo II, her and Percy had spent all hours of the day together, and yet he still felt sick to his stomach each time her and Piper exchanged a knowing look or finished each others’ sentences.

Acting that in-sync had always been their thing. Whether they were fighting monsters or arguing with other campers, Annabeth and Percy had ran like a well-oiled machine since they were 12. And now her and Piper did that. It was fine, he wasn’t jealous or anything. Nope. Piper was best friends with Annabeth now and-

And he was just her boyfriend. Was that really all their relationship was now? Maybe he was just overanalyzing this all and driving himself crazy for no reason. Hopefully that was it. Sure, he had been gone for months, but Annabeth wouldn’t find a replacement best friend so quickly, right?

He should probably talk to her about that.

And also the fact that Annabeth basically acted like she hadn’t formed a bond with Piper over the eight months of being with her. It was like, ‘you had been an amazing friends those months but now that Percy’s back, I’m gonna ditch you’. Annabeth couldn’t do that. I mean, it would be quite reasonable for her to drift away a bit but not drift away that much. The only moment they had another strong friendship moment was in BoO where they had to go to the temple of fear.

I feel like I’m wrong somewhere here so if I am, please feel free to correct me :>

You know what the most unrealistic part of HoO was? The fact that Percy wasn’t jealous of Piper. While he was asleep, Piper and Annabeth formed a strong bond together, to the point where they had inside jokes. You cannot tell me that Percy ‘I’m jealous of how much time Thalia and Annabeth spend together’ Jackson would not be envious of Piper and Annabeth’s bond. Annabeth may be his girlfriend, but she is his best friend first and foremost, and he’s definitely jealous of anyone trying to take that place.

Manifesting that we’re gonna get a back story on how Will and Nico got together in the upcoming Solangelo book

Do you spell it as amazing casting or do you spell it as “the Percy Jackson Disney + cast”?

I am already absolutely head over heels for Sally Jackson, them making her a MILF in the adaptation is not helping my case

This is it guys, it’s finally happening, filming for the PJO Disney + has officially started and we’re going to get behind the scenes and posts of the cast together, and hopefully small videos of them goofing around on set. I am so so ready for the fandom to freak out whenever one of the cast posts something with their co-actor or about something in set. I am ready for it all

I’m sorry but I literally don’t understand how some people don’t like the PJO casting. They’re all fucking perfect. Like, what’s there not to like???

headcannon that after percy gets home and all that from being missing the first several months of him being home was everyone acting like he’s a small child who might get lost if he isn’t wearing one of those monkey backpacks with a leash as a tail

i know annabeth stopped letting him walk her to her cabin she now walks him to his cabin and watches him close the door then stands there for 5 minutes before calling goodnight to his window and if he doesn’t answer she breaks the door down to verify he is infact still in there

sally walks into him room at night just to check if he’s still in his bed tbh the first month i know sally was practically rocking him to sleep just so she knew he was home and safe

when he’s not at camp he’s at home if he’s not at home he’s at camp and if he’s not at either of those he’s got a buddy with him

i know every so often he starts feeling a bubble of anxiety in his chest and he has to force an extremely strong feeling of safety and conger up a mental image of exactly where he’s at just to calm down grover who he just saw 8 hours ago

it probably stresses sally and paul out when he’s in his room for too long and they don’t hear him walking around like he goes upstairs to do his homework and once he’s sat at his desk for over an hour he’s got some knocking at his door and it’s paul “just checking in”

i know everytime he walks into a cabin or the big house or even home everyone greets him like it’s the first time they’ve talked to him in years like they’re trying to positively reinforce the fact that he’s safe and home

i know paul starts getting a little anxious when he doesn’t see him around for a certain amount of time too like he misses percy leaving for the day so paul pokes his head into percy’s room to see it empty then goes downstairs to see only sally and has to force a flat voice as he’s like “lol so have you seen percy recently or…” as his hearts beating in his throat

like percy disappearing has def given everyone ptsd and anytime he’s gone for what feels like even slightly too long they start to panic a little

he stops at a grocery store after he leaves school and ducks into an alley to iris message annabeth just to let her know he’s gonna run late 20 min later he’s trying to debate what flavor ice cream he should get when an employee is tapping him on the shoulder bc there’s someone on the line for him and it’s annabeth who’s hacked into the security cameras telling him to get chocolate

she got 2 birds with 1 stone now he has to leave and come home (bc monsters) and she also gets her fav flavor
