Last Week I Made A Post Comparing The My Spiritwalker Characters To The People I Stole Their Names From,
Last week I made a post comparing the my Spiritwalker characters to the people I stole their names from, so hereās one for my We Faceless Folk characters. Tbh I think this one is more interesting
Chinwe
My first year in college I was in a program with a girl named Chinwendu, but she went by Chinwe for short. I thought it was such a cute name, but wait thereās more. My second year in college I transferred to a different school on the opposite end of the country and met another Chinwe. When I created the character, I knew I wanted an ethnic name, so of course this one immediately popped in my head.
I didnāt really know either Chinwe so I canāt say if theyāre similar to mine, but when I met the second one she had a girlfriend and my character is also queer so thereās that.
Ms. Jones
This character is Chinweās mom and I named her after my introduction to Africana studies professor. I chose the name because my professor was an old black woman and my character is an old black woman so I thought it fit.
Other than that, they have nothing in common. My professor was so adventurous she went skydiving for her birthday. Meanwhile, my character barely gets out of her house because she has a bad knee.
Yejin
This oneās a bit complicated. My first roommate was named Sejin, but I didnāt want to give her the satisfaction of naming a character after her. So I named her Yejin, the name of a student in the center I work at, and itās close enough to Sejin to be a dig.
The character Yejin is exactly like Sejināa selfish, toxic bitch. Sure, sheās more exagerated, but is it really by that much when the real Sejin cried when I told the RA she opened the door when I was topless and made excuses to how it couldnāt have happened when she could have prevented it in the first place by paying attention to me for one measly second?
Alyanna
Alyanna is the name of one of my closest friends. When I couldnāt think of a name for this character, I used hers.
The real person and character are pretty similar. Both are college students who like going out places and posting on instagram. I think my friend has more of a sense of humor.

Thanks for asking!
Yes! Everyone is super supportive of each other. Queerphobia does not exist in my wip.
It impacts my characters by making them comfortable enough to open up to others about their romantic ventures or lack thereof. They also have plenty opportunities to explore their identity on their own.
The books weāve been making the whole school year arrived! Want to see my contribution?

Even though this is my second year in my internship, itās still so crazy to me to see my name in a book and my writing in print
Nice to meet you! I also like to collect books, but I donāt have that many right now because Iām a broke college students lol. Iāve been getting into romance lately so Iād love to hear more about your wip :)

About Me
Peach (She/They)
Professional Nanny
Based in the US
I love reading and writing, and Iām a dedicated book collector. I have over 400 books in my library, and my goal is to have 1,000 books.
Writing
Iām using this blog to post about and document the progress of my romance novel. Iām also hoping to get honest opinions about it from people who donāt know me personally.
I also want to write another sci-fi/fantasy piece, but I havenāt really fleshed out a plot yet. More on the story as it develops!
Current WIP
Too Sweet - March is an optimistic do-gooder on his way to Redwood University to start his master's degree. He's far from home and misses his brothers deeply, but he still feels like the world is at his fingertips. Cricket is a high school dropout going nowhere fast. Her toxic ex won't leave her alone, and she's deeply unhappy with her job as a bartender at a tavern frequented by Dungeons and Dragons larpers. They can't help but feel drawn to each other, but is he too sweet for her?

OC Questionnaire
Thanks for tagging me @pixies-love-envy!
My questions are:
Are you spiritual at all?
Do you want children? If so, how many?
Whatās your favorite memory?
and Iāll answer for Cassidy.
1. Are you spiritual at all?
I guess. Iām grateful my goddess gave magic to my clan, but that doesnāt mean I like all her decisions or will pray to her.
2. Do you want children? If so, how many?
Having children would be fun! I think two is a good number.
3. Whatās your favorite memory?
Any memory with my friends. Doesnāt matter if weāre just chatting or going out for a night on the town. I love them so much that every moment is special.
Iāll softly tag @elsie-writes @leahnardo-da-veggie and anyone else who wants to participate
Your questions are:
What is the worst thing youāve done?
Who do you go to when you need comfort?
What do you want to do before you die?
