A "This isn't my issue but you care about it and I care about you so I'm here to support you" kinda thing.

No.

Incorrect.

This is a heartbreaking dynamic of betrayal.

Imagine having someone you care about, who supports you in everything you do. You couldn't be more grateful for them and the work you do together.

But then something doesn't quite work out.

You've been so dedicated to a certain cause, your loved one right there with you, but it's hard. No matter what you try you can't seem to get through to people. You do your best but you... you just can't.

You're going down, but hey, at least you're going down with them. Together is the single most perfect way to go.

Until you're not.

Until they leave.

Until "oh no dying for me thank you, I just wanted to be on this is hill with you".

You feel hurt, betrayal, confusion, but most of all? You feel guilty and useless.

You thought they believed in this cause as much as you did. You thought you could trust their actions and words that supported that idea. But in the end, it was nothing more then a lie... just like how many others?

And to top it all off, you couldn't even convince the person you held most dear in this world of this cause that was so very important to you. That you had spent so long fighting for.

Why did you think you could make any sort of difference at all?

It's just I've been having a crisis for a few years now and honestly it would really suck for me personally if I was aromantic.

Why? You may ask...

Personally I completely agree, but Id add the fact that this is completely platonic and comes from the fact that they were childhood friends. Despite all the shit they've been through and how much they've grown, they still look at each other and see the other as a little kid.

Little Bakugo needs to be protected, not because Deku thinks he can't take care of himself, but because deku thinks bakugo deserves to have someone care for him so much that they'd kill for him. While Deku doesn't normally care for people that way, he understands that it's how Bakugo needs to be cared for because no one had cared like that before.

Little Deku needs to be protected as well, but he is much more gentle then Bakugo, he doesn't need to be protected by violence but from it. To kill for Deku would just hurt him more, but to die for him? Bakugo will be the shield between Deku and whatever tries to harm him even if it kills him. Especially if it kills him, cause if it killed bakugo, there's no way that Deku could have survived.

I think Bakugou would kill for a lot of people but the only person he would die for without hesitation is Izuku and I think Izuku would die for a lot of people but the only person he would kill for without hesitation is Kacchan

Just a cute lil thought:

Since Bruce's kids all love to play around and hide in his cape as Robins, I wonder if he makes them blankets out of the same materials as his cape so they can have a piece of security when Bruce isn't there?

I remember in Dick and Jason's older comics (correct me if I'm wrong), they used to stay up late waiting for Bruce when he'd go out as Batman alone, so I'm gonna take this as confirmation that all his kids have done this at some point.

So now I'm totally gonna hc that in order to encourage his kids to not stay up late for him or as a way to help them feel more safe and secure when he's not there, he makes them all blanket replicas of his cape for them to snuggle with :')

And also just imagine his kids all grown up, and they STILL have the blankets with them, regardless of if they've moved out.
