And a close-up of the witch herself. A lot of this is going to have a pretty different line quality once it’s actually cut, but this gives me a starting point.
Brief update: the artist in residence is letting me use half of her studio, so I have a place to work now. Sweet blessed work space.
ANNOUNCEMENTS ANNOUNCEMENTS
I have a show opening next week. It is called “she rose to devour”, and it’s my first solo show since being back in the United States. Those of you who can come see it, that would be amazing. It’s at the Colorado Mesa University gallery in downtown Grand Junction, the opening is on Friday the 5th from 6-10, and the show will be open from June 6th through August 13th.
I'm going to do one of those "look at how much I improved", but I am going to cheat. I'm going to pick a character I made when I was 11, and now I'm 28 and do art for a living.
Annual sketchbook dump part 2. Seriously, a lot of Weirdo lately. I will probably start doing her comic again when I am not an inexplicably busy lazy person.
