Ghost Lesbian Bride

Ok so I have an idea for a short story which I am too tired to write but you all can enjoy the wip in the meantime. So the Chinese have ghost marriages where if a person dies as a bachelor or bachelorette they are sometimes married to another deceased or someone alive so that their spirit isn't lonely in the afterlife.

Well, what if a simple Chinese martial artist fell in love with a woman of the upper class who was destined to be married to another upperclassman and then the noblewoman is killed in the scuffle that resulted after their relationship was found out. The martial artist escapes and stays in hiding until her beloves funeral where she puts a bunch of azaleas (the first flower she gave to her after starting their relationship) on her grave as she declares to her that she will eternally consider her to be her wife as she takes a few flowers to put into the hilt of her Wushu as a symbol of their love for one another.

The real story starts when the noblewoman wakes up as a spirit realizing what her beloved has done means that she is tethered to the land of living by the love and devotion of her wife but the unfortunate part is she is a specter she can only observe as her wife carries on in her life without her as nothing she do or say can be observed by her wife until one day she discovers that the only things she can interact with in the land of living are azaleas flowers. The story follows her as she finds ways to make her wife realize her existence and finally get her happily ever after.
