During A Mission With Genesis And Zack, Sephiroth Got Hit (Genesis Was The One Who Throw It) By A Time

During a mission with Genesis and Zack, Sephiroth got hit (Genesis was the one who throw it) by a time materia and turn into Babyroth but he still has his memories. Zack and Genesis was cooing and teasing about how adorable their General is until Babyroth flashes them his very, very sharp set of teeth.

Uh oh.

Zack and Genesis are panicking as they rush back to the headquarters with babyroth, unfortunately Angeal sees them.

Angeal: Guys, WHY do you have a baby??

Zack: Uhh....good question! Isn't that a good question, Genesis? Wouldn't you like to answer his question?

Genesis: Zack and I fell in love, eloped and have adopted a child.

Zack: WHAT?

*Angeal faints*

Zack: ANGEAL!

Genesis left baby Sephiroth in a play pen in his office while Angeal beats his ass, Cloud comes by looking for Genesis and stumbles upon the baby

Cloud: Aww, cute kid! Are you in here all alone?

Sephiroth: ...

Cloud: Don't worry, I'll watch over you.

Sephiroth: ...

Cloud: Come to think, you look a little bit like Sephiroth.

Sephiroth: ...

Cloud: Oh my god blink twice if you're Sephiroth.

*Sephiroth blinks twice*

Cloud remembers a spell from the materia training Genesis has been putting him through, he then uses it to turn Sephiroth back to normal.

Sephiroth: That was a dreadful experience. My parents were Genesis and Zack.

Cloud: At least you had parents this time.

Sephiroth: ...........

ANSWERING THIS AFTER 9999 YEARS BUT SYPHA??? OH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE???????????????

I GOTCHU AND IM SORRY IT TOK SO LONGGGGGGG

Bruh so like as much of a spunk mage Sypha be, she can get nervous. And like it’s kinda cute when she is, she stutters and gets all huffy and blushy and IM?????

But like after some time of talking and hand holding and assuring her this is her own thing and like she can take however much time she needs to get ready, she comes to her decision on her own.

Sypha most likely brings up her relationship status (after bragging about you to Alucard and Trevor for like a long ass time) one evening and is like: “Do y’all wanna meet my partner? I love them so much and I think I’m ready.”

Trevor is 100% ready for this funky ass lil mage to introduce her partner to them because he has sent a message thru Sypha that roughly says: “If u fucking hurt her I’ll hunt you down with the Morning Star myself”

Alucard on the other hand is prepared, like a man at a job interview, ready to answer any and all questions you may have and ask some of his own. 

So tada! Here you four are, sitting around the fire.

“This is my partner! PLease be nice to them! Don’t kill them pls and thanks.”

“It’s wonderful to finally meet you, Sypha has literally not shut up about you-” “Alucard stfu” “But it’s true! It’s only good things, I promise!”

“So YOU’RE Sypha’s partner? Nice, want some beer?” “....sure?”

All in all, both of the boys are protective of Sypha in different ways.

Both are like big bros but like...different

They both know that Sypha can take care of herself but while Trevor outright threatens you, Alcuard is like: “If you hurt Sypha, you’re digging your own grave lmao”

All the while Sypha is nervous and found clinging to your hand but the boys like ya. 

And then Trevor immediately tries to get you go on this whole scheme thing he has of pranking Alucard and Sypha

Sephiroth + “forever”

It’s still early, around dawn, when Sephiroth wakes up. For the first time in what feels like forever, he’s slept through the entire night, unbothered by nightmares or the burning questions that always haunt him when he lies awake at night. But not tonight. Tonight, he just… slept. 

All thanks to the soft pile of warmth that’s tucked into his side and clings to him, buried beneath the blanket. You’re still sound asleep, your breathing quiet and even, your entire body relaxed and calm. Sephiroth is pretty sure that you had your back towards him when you fell asleep the evening prior but at some point during the night, you must’ve snuggled up to him like this. Your hand rests on his chest, your nails lightly digging into his skin, and your legs are tangled with his. 

It will never cease to amaze him how clingy and adorable you can be with someone like him. He’s no saint, he’s done horrible things in the past and will do them in the future, but here you are, trusting him enough to sleep so peacefully right next to him. 

A hint of a smile flashes over Sephiroth’s face as he looks down at your sleeping form, at the way your nose scrunches up when you mumble something incoherent, and he can’t help but brush his fingertips against your cheek. Your mumbles turn into a content sigh as you shift your position and nestle closer to him. 

His smile widens. He can’t remember the last time he felt so… at ease. It’s like none of his concerns, none of his worries matter as long as you are here by his side. In moments like this, Sephiroth just knows that you’re the only thing that keeps him sane in this awful world.

You mumble something again, something that vaguely sounds like his name, and he wraps his arm around you and gently squeezes you against him. If this would be his forever, he’d gladly accept it.
