“HIS RED FLAGS” - PART 4 - what does he do that make him an obvious red flag?

RENSUKE KUNIGAMI [WILDCARD]
╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ It doesn't take you long to realize how distant you are with your boyfriend, Rensuke. He no longer contacts you, texts you 'good morning' and 'good night', no late-night calls. He ghosts you out of nowhere which make you worried. Even though now he is allowed to call anyone during his stay in Blue Lock Program. When you come over to visit him at Blue Lock facility, Rensuke pretends like he has never met you and avoid you. You confront him about it and at that point, you realize you're talking to a different person- he isn't your boyfriend. He is cold-hearted, ruthless, stoic and harsh toward you. He never raise his voice at you but his venomous words still stung your heart. He hurts your feelings on purpose, he tells you the last things you would ever hear from him. Though you shed tears in front of him, he never hug you or comfort you. You can't feel his comfortable warmth and gentle kindness anymore. In the end, he discards you from his life like you mean nothing to him.
"You mean nothing to me. Never appear before me again."
"This relationship is a waste of time."
JINPACHI EGO
╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ Jin is emotionally detached from you. He can't feel your emotions which make it difficult for him to comprehend your emotional state. When you're upset, he never bother to comfort you because he doesn't know what is upsetting you. He tries to provide consolation, only for his words to come out wrong and you misunderstanding his intention. This always results with you arguing with him and him never show the effort to console or win your heart back. In fact, he becomes harsher toward you. At some point, he gets annoyed with the constant argument and your breakdown that he decides to end the relationship without properly explaining everything to you first.
"You're stupid for crying over such thing."
"You're not insecure, you just don't have enough confidence."
"Stop getting upset over every little inconvenience."
EITA OTOYA
╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ He is basically Oliver 2.0 except that he never bother to hide the fact he wants to cheat from the beginning. If Oliver is being subtle before exposing his real intention, Eita straight out cheats in front of you. You lose count on how many times you see him staring at other people from the beginning you both start dating. He only focuses on you when you ask him for a kiss and he is more than willing to give you one. But much to your misfortune, you know those lips are the same lips that kiss his other scandals. He is not ashamed of the fact he is cheating on you. This fact is as clear as day. He even kisses one of his scandals in front of you and introduces you as his friend. He knows you are too kind to prohibit him from cheating because you love him a lot. His relationship with you only happen on impulse. He never care about your feelings since he lacks emotional attachment.
"You don't like my attitude? Okay, then. Let's break up."
"We're not married so I don't belong to you."
JYUBEI ARYU
╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ He doesn't exactly have prominent red flags that make him an entirely toxic person but some part of his behavior irritates you sometime. He loves his appearance and his hair is his pride and joy. He wants you look good as well so sometime he offers you advice on fashion and dressing style. He keeps pestering you to take good care of your appearance until you get very annoyed with him. This gets really bad to the extent you feel like he never appreciate you for who you are and try to turn you into his ideal lover who can stand on the same level as him. He tells you to follow his steps so you can become as stylish at him. It gets irritating really irritating that sometime you treat him harshly. Even though he actually means well and only wishes to bring out the best from you.
"Hey, (Name), I bought this new skincare product. It can help with your acne problem."
"I'm not...saying you look hideous. I just want my love to look good."

“EXPECTING” she delivered a surprise to him

╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ oneshot

࿐*ೃ feat : jinpachi ego
࿐*ೃ fandom : blue lock
࿐*ೃ extra : fem! reader, fluff

╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ THE Blue Lock facility was just as imposing and intense as you remembered. Even with the countless visits you'd made to see Jinpachi Ego, your husband, the atmosphere inside never failed to make you feel like you were stepping into some grand, high-stakes war room. It was eerily quiet today, though. You guessed that meant the boys were out on the field, which made sense since Jinpachi was holed up in the observation room, glued to the giant screens monitoring each of their movements.
"Hey, Jin," you called out as you saunter into the room, casually leaning against the doorframe. Your voice cut through the silence, and you watched as his head snapped toward you, the ever-present dark circles under his eyes looking more prominent than usual. His focus wavered for just a moment, and you relished that little distraction.
"Shouldn't you be off doing something other than lounging around watching a bunch of sweaty teenagers kick a ball?" you teased, eyeing him up and down. As always, his fashion choices were... questionable at best. His lanky figure was dressed in his usual casual attire-black shirt, jeans, and the bolo tie that seemed to have permanently attached itself to his neck. His Crocs squeaked as he turned in his chair to face you fully, hands still poised over his tablet.
Jinpachi pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, raising an eyebrow at your entrance. "Shouldn't you be doing something more productive than pestering me in the middle of my life's work?"
You scoffed, flicking your hair over your shoulder. "Oh, please. Like I'd miss out on an opportunity to make fun of you. I mean, you're practically a caricature of a soccer coach at this point."
He narrowed his eyes, as if considering a comeback, but ultimately shrugged, his focus already returning to the monitors in front of him. "What brings you here, anyway? Don't you have things to do?"
"Oh, I do," you said. "But I figured I'd do my civic duty and check on my poor, neglected husband. Make sure you're still alive and not buried under a pile of instant noodle cups."
"Your concern is touching," he deadpanned, eyes still glued to the screen, tracking a particular player. "I haven't died of malnutrition yet, so you can stop worrying. Now, unless you have an actual reason for being here-"
You rolled your eyes, but a mischievous grin tugged at the corners of your lips. The banter was fun, sure, but you hadn't come here just for that. This was a big moment, and the anticipation of revealing your news made your palms slightly sweaty.
"I have a reason," you admitted, stepping further into the room. You dug into your bag and pulled out a small plastic bag, nonchalantly tossing it onto his desk. Jinpachi didn't even look at it at first, too busy tapping something on his screen. Typical.
It took a few seconds before he glanced down at the bag. His hand froze mid-tap. His eyes flickered back and forth between the plastic bag and your face, obviously confused.
"What is this?" he asked flatly, eyebrows furrowing together in that adorably clueless way that you found so endearing.
You couldn't help the smirk that spread across your face as you crossed your arms, waiting for him to connect the dots. He was smart, but you knew he wouldn't get it right away.
"Well, dear genius husband of mine, I'd think it's pretty obvious."
His eyes narrowed again, this time studying the contents more closely. The realization started to dawn, and you saw his eyebrows lift just slightly. "Who's carrying the demon spawn?"
You nearly burst out laughing, but you managed to keep your composure long enough to reply. "Me, you idiot."
There was a brief moment of silence as Jinpachi just stared at you. His face, which usually bore the expression of someone who had seen too much in life, remained completely blank. Then, without missing a beat, he leaned back in his chair, folding his arms. "Sucks to be you."
You let out a loud laugh, almost doubling over at the audacity. "Seriously? That's your reaction? 'Sucks to be you'? Unbelievable."
But he wasn't done. "Well, it's not my body that has to go through nine months of hell," he stated, almost smugly, though you could tell from the twitch in his cheek that he was just as stunned as you expected him to be. His cool exterior was probably the only thing stopping him from actually freaking out.
You rolled your eyes and walked over to him, leaning down to pinch his cheek-hard. "Listen here, you smug noodle-loving stick figure, you are not going to miss out on this. Every appointment, every scan, every time the doctor tells us what to expect-you're coming with me."
He winced slightly at the pinch but didn't pull away. "What if I'm busy shaping Japan's future soccer geniuses?" he quipped, though there was a hint of uncertainty in his voice now.
"Nope. Don't care," you responded, releasing his cheek but poking his shoulder for emphasis. "You are not skipping a single thing. We're in this together, Jinpachi."
He glanced away, scratching his neck-a tell-tale sign that he was annoyed, or more likely in this case, unsure how to process the information. "Fine," he muttered, his tone nonchalant, but you knew him well enough to catch the way his fingers curled just a little tighter around the tablet. "I'll come. Just don't expect me to, I don't know, do yoga or something ridiculous."
You snorted. "Yeah, like I'm going to let you anywhere near a yoga mat. I can barely trust you with a fork."
He gave you a dry look, but there was a faint smirk on his lips now.
You knew he was internally processing the magnitude of the news, even as he tried to play it cool. Jinpachi was never one to show too much emotion, especially not in a high-stakes environment like this. You could almost see the gears turning in his head, calculating how this would affect his meticulously structured life.
"Seriously, though," you spoke, trying to shift the mood a little, "I know this is a lot, but think about it. You'll have someone to mold into a future soccer star. It will take a while though."
He raised an eyebrow, an incredulous look crossing his face. "Mold? Is that really the word you want to use? I'd prefer 'cultivate' or 'develop.'"
You laughed again, shaking your head. "Whatever you want to call it, you know you'll be a great dad. Just look at how you handle the players here."
"Yeah, by constantly pushing them to their limits. I'm not sure that's the best parenting method."
"Oh, come on!" you shot back, amused. "It's either that or be a total softie. I'm sure we can balance it out. You can be the tough love dad while I take care of the cuddles."
He rolled his eyes but you could see the corners of his mouth twitching again. "That's a terrifying thought, honestly."
"Yeah? Well, get used to it. This is happening." You leaned down and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "You're going to be a dad, and I can't wait for you to experience all the joys-and chaos-that come with it."
His expression softened for just a moment as he regarded you, the seriousness of the situation creeping into his usual façade of confidence. "I suppose there are worse things than being a dad," he admitted, almost begrudgingly. "I just hope this kid doesn't inherit my inability to function outside of soccer."
You chuckled, the warmth of the moment settling around you. "I think we both know they'll be a soccer prodigy with you as their dad. But maybe we can throw in some art classes or something, just to balance it out?"
He scrunched his nose in distaste. "Art? Ugh. I don't feel like producing a piece of art."
You nudged him playfully. "See, this is what I mean! You need to open your horizons. You can't just be all soccer all the time. What about cooking classes?"
"Cooking classes? Are you serious?" he asked incredulously. "If I wanted to poison our child, I'd just let them eat my cooking."
"Oh, don't act like you can't cook." you challenged, smirking at him. "You're just too stubborn to learn anything outside of instant noodles."
"Instant noodles are an art form," he shot back, crossing his arms defensively. "Besides, if it's not in my contract, it's not my concern."
You rolled your eyes again, though your heart swelled with affection for him. His quirks and stubbornness were part of what made him so uniquely him. "Well, I think you'll have to make some adjustments in your schedule, Mister 'Nothing but soccer.'"
He sighed dramatically, though the corners of his mouth curled upward. "I'll think about it," he said, his voice dry as ever. But you noticed that glint in his eye, the one he always got when he was secretly pleased with something.
"Thinking about it isn't good enough," you countered, narrowing your eyes playfully as you leaned in closer. "You're going to be there for all of it. And when our kid asks you for help with their homework, you better know the answer. No slacking off with the whole 'I only care about soccer' excuse."
"No, you'll do the teaching."
You almost choked on your breath. "What a nightmare..imagine ME, teaching math? Do you want me to fail our child?"
You poked him in the ribs, enjoying the rare moment where you could tease him into a corner. "You better brush up. No instant noodles or spreadsheets will save you when that time comes."
Jinpachi sighed theatrically, pushing his glasses up again, a smirk barely visible at the corners of his lips. "I'll consider it a challenge. Though, I'm not responsible if our child grows up with a warped sense of humor."
"Oh, please," you snorted. "With me as their mom, they'll be perfectly balanced. It's you I'm worried about. You're going to corrupt them with your twisted soccer fanaticism."
He tilted his head, fixing you with a mock-serious stare. "And what, exactly, would be wrong with that?"
"Everything," you replied, matching his intensity. "Because if you think I'm going to sit through endless hours of soccer drills, you've got another thing coming. I'll make sure they're into something else, too. Maybe theater or art, just to mess with you."
The idea visibly made Jinpachi twitch. "Our child doing theater... Horrifying."
You grinned wickedly. "Exactly. And you'll love it."
Jinpachi shook his head, but the fondness in his eyes couldn't be mistaken. You could see it now, peeking through the cracks of his cool exterior. He wasn't just some cold, calculating football genius; he was also the man you fell in love with-quirky, egotistical, yes, but full of hidden warmth that he saved just for you.
A comfortable silence settled between you both for a moment. The only sound in the room was the faint hum of the monitors and the occasional scribble of his stylus on the tablet. You stood there, watching him work for a bit.
You were going to have a baby-his baby. You weren't sure what kind of father Jinpachi would be, but you knew one thing for certain: he would approach it with the same passion he had for everything else.
After a few minutes, you finally broke the silence. "So, when do you think you'll be free to come to the first appointment?" you asked, keeping your tone light but serious.
He glanced up at you, pushing his glasses up again-a nervous habit of his when he was thinking. "I'll make time," he said simply, almost nonchalantly, though you could tell he meant it. "I'm not missing it. I'll put it in my calendar. Between strategy meetings, of course."
You raised an eyebrow. "Between strategy meetings? Really? You're prioritizing strategy over me and your future child?"
"Don't twist my words," he shot back, smirking. "I'll be there. I can multitask."
"Sure, sure," you teased, though you knew he would keep his word. "And make sure to bring something that isn't noodles when we go. I'm not sharing my snacks with you."
He made a face, clearly displeased by the thought. "You're cruel."
You couldn't help but laugh, the sound filling the room. "I'm just preparing you for parenthood, Jinpachi. You'll have to learn to share eventually."
He rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the small smile tugging at his lips. "You're really enjoying this, aren't you?"
"Oh, absolutely," you replied, grinning. "I'm going to hold this over your head for the rest of your life."
Jinpachi sighed, leaning back in his chair again. "Of course you are."
You placed a hand on your stomach. It wasn't just about teasing him or watching him squirm, though that was always a fun bonus. You were building a life together, and this was just the beginning of something incredible.
"Ready for the ride, Jin?" you asked, a soft smile on your lips as you looked at him.
He glanced over at you. There was something real and sincere in his eyes, a flicker of emotion that he rarely let anyone see.
"Yeah," he said quietly, nodding. "I think I am."
You smiled, feeling the warmth spread through your chest. "Good. Because I'm not doing this alone."
He let out a quiet chuckle, shaking his head. "As if I'd let you. I'll be there... every step of the way."
"Damn right you will be," you said, though your tone was softer now, more affectionate. You stepped closer, gently resting a hand on his shoulder, and he placed his own hand over yours.
Jinpachi squeezed your hand gently, his eyes meeting yours with an intensity that caught you off guard. You could feel the warmth of his hand on yours, grounding you in the moment.
"You know," you murmured, stepping in closer, your voice low as you brushed a hand across his cheek. "I'm not always sassy."
He raised an eyebrow, the corner of his mouth twitching into a smirk. "Really? I've never seen the evidence."
"Shut up," you whispered, though you were smiling as you said it. "I'm trying to be sentimental here."
Jinpachi let out a small chuckle, but there was a tenderness in his expression that you rarely saw. He lifted his hand from your shoulder to cup your cheek, his thumb brushing against your skin in a way that made your heart skip a beat. It was such a simple gesture, yet from him, it carried so much meaning. Jinpachi was a man of few overt affections, but when he did show them, they were undeniable.
Slowly, he leaned down toward you, his movements almost cautious, as if he were afraid to break the moment. You felt your breath hitch in your throat as his face drew closer, your heart pounding in your chest. And then, with a gentleness that contrasted sharply with his usual brashness, his lips met yours.
The kiss was soft, tender-unlike the sharp-edged banter you usually exchanged. His lips were warm against yours, and for a moment, the world around you disappeared. His hand on your cheek was steady, grounding you, while your own hands found their way to the back of his neck, pulling him just a little closer.
You could feel the warmth of his body against yours, his long fingers brushing the nape of your neck as he deepened the kiss, still slow, still deliberate. It was the kind of kiss that felt like a promise.
When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested gently against yours, both of you breathing a little heavier than before. His hand lingered on your cheek, his thumb still softly stroking your skin. Jinpachi's glasses had slightly fogged up from the closeness, but he didn't bother adjusting them this time.
"Sucks to be us, huh?" he murmured, his voice teasing but quieter than usual, as if he were afraid to break the delicate moment.
You smiled, still catching your breath, your fingers lightly tracing the back of his neck. "Yeah. Guess we're stuck together now."
"Not the worst fate," he replied, his smirk returning but his eyes soft.
You pulled him in for another kiss, this one quicker but just as sweet, before you leaned back, a playful grin tugging at your lips. "And just so you know, that baby's going to love theater. Deal with it."
Jinpachi groaned, rolling his eyes dramatically, but there was a fondness there that you couldn't miss. "Fine. But only if you handle it. I'll take care of soccer practice."
"Deal," you said, feeling a warmth spread through your chest.
As you stood there, wrapped in his arms, you knew that whatever the future held, you would face it together.

╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ "IS IT JUST me or has Izana been acting odd lately?"
Kakucho spoke up, breaking the silence between him and the Brutal Generation, as well as the executives of Tenjiku. He was unable to contain his curiosity much longer. He pondered in his mind all the time; whether the others noticed this subtle change in Izana.
"Izana has always been unhinged, Kakucho. Since when he's not acting odd?" Ran casually remarked, finding his question strange. "You know him personally much more than we do. Surely, we can't give you any answers even if you demand one from us." Rindou added.
"What's so odd about Izana anyway?" Shion asked, his brain still trying its hardest to discern the meaning behind Kakucho's inquiry. "If you are talking about how he has been hanging out a lot on his own, I personally don't think it's strange." Kanji stated whilst he munched on a mochi.
"You know him. He doesn't like it when we question his actions." Muto advised, patting the younger male's broad back to reassure him. "I know, but...ahh, there is just something off about him. I can't get it out of my mind unless I figure it out." Kakucho argued, persistently staying true to himself.
"My gut feeling is too strong for me to ignore it... Alright, that's it. I'm going out to check on Izana. He went out to the city again today. You guys wanna tag along?" Kakucho offered invitation to the rest of the executives. Shion, Kanji and Muto were unsure. They didn't want to dig their own grave.
But the two Haitanis thought otherwise. They were thrilled by the idea of spying on Izana during his casual stroll in the city. They might discover something unbelievable.
"We are coming along~" Ran agreed to Kakucho's invitation, his hand resting on top of Rindou's head. Rindou wore a wide grin on his face, excited by the adventure they were about to experience. It could be a death wish but who cares! Life wasn't fun without taking risk.
Seeing two of them agreeing to this maniacal, suicide-borderline plan, Kanji, Shion and Muto sighed defeatedly and eventually agreed to Kakucho as well. Delighted by their cooperation, he smiled at the older males happily.
"Alright, let's go now!"

Meanwhile, in the city, Izana was strolling in a clothing store with you, browsing the various clothes and shoes sold in the store in complete silence. There was no way he would want to buy them as most the stuffs he wanted was overpriced.
His amethyst-hued eyes suddenly landed on a pair of shoes. He stared long at the said shoes, as if he was attracted to them. He was unaware of how long he was fixing his gaze at the footwear. Noticing his behavior, you smiled at him and picked up the shoes he secretly wished to have.
Shocked by your action, Izana looked at you in disbelief. "No, not again." He opposed your idea. He knew you too well; you were planning to buy the shoes for him. But you shook your head and brought the shoes along as you and your boyfriend made your way to the store clerk.
"Yes, again. I told you, just buy anything you want. I can pay for the goods."
"You're always spoiling me."
"And I love doing that. Especially spoiling you."
Izan smiled softly at you, his one and only girlfriend. To be honest, he didn't know you were from a wealthy family until he went on a first date with you. It was astonishing to figure out this interesting fact about you.
Izana reached out his hand and held your hand warmly. "That's why I love you so much, mahal." He whispered seductively into your ear, tightening his hold on your hand. Your cheeks heated up upon hearing his attractive voice. God, you always had a thing for voice. Hearing a sexy voice like his made you weak in the knees. "I love you too, sweetie."
You paid for the shoes much to Izana's happiness. He never, never even once asked you to spoil him with your wealth. You willingly did it for him and he appreciated it so much. Even though he couldn't buy any expensive gifts like you did, you adored every single thing he did or give to you as presents.
You weren't a picky and judgmental girl.
"So, where should we go now?"
"Mahal, I'm hungry. Can we stop by KFC?"
"Sure! And you better keep your wallet in your pocket. Today's date is on me."
"But..."
"No buts. I invited you to the date so I have the rights to spoil you."
Izana chuckled while rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. You were persistently stubborn when it came to this topic. It was no surprise to know you hated being the spoiled one during date. Only on rare occasion, you would let him pay during the date.
"If you say so, mahal." Izana leaned in to kiss your forehead. Your face went ablaze, delighted by his soft kiss. That was right, this was what you wanted. Receiving rewards in the form of physical touched everytime you spoiled him. Izana was the best when it came to showing love through physical touch.
Hooking your arm with his, you and Izana walked out of the clothing store as he flirted with you, effortlessly causing warmth to spread across your cheeks.
"After this...wanna come over to my place to chill, mahal?" Izana whispered flirtatiously into your ear. You could practically hear the smirk in his teasing voice as his arm found its way to snake around your waist. "I love to reward you for all the treats and spoiling...you deserve so much from me."
"Eager much, aren't you? I'm always up for it. I love to be spoiled by you later."
"Thought you hated being coddled by me, mahal."
"Your "spoiling" is different and that's why I love it."
The warmth in your cheeks kept rising up. You could never stop flirting with Izana when he started making his move. He would continue whispering sweet nothings until you overheated.
Unbeknownst to the couple, a group of curious delinquents were spying on them with the youngest having his jaw dropped to the ground in disbelief.
"I-Izana...since when did he— has a partner?" Kakucho gasped, his mouth agape wide open. Shion, Muto, Kanji, Ran and Rindou were left speechless as well. Izana, never once, showed the slightest bit interest in relationship considering that man hated "troublesome burden". Hence, seeing him all sweet with a girl was a miracle. This fact might take a while to be embedded into their brain.
"Let's go follow them. I need to confirm again—"
Much to Kakucho's misfortune, Rindou unintentionally slipped and brutally pushed Kakucho out of their hiding spot. Due to panic, all of them left the alleyway to help Kakucho and Rindou to get back on their feet.
Of course, this led to their downfall.
Thanked to the chaos, Izana and you were drawn to take a look. The Tenjiku leader was displeased to find his executives all hoarded together. He figured out right away that they were spying on him.
"You know them?" You asked, curious of his sudden change of facial expression. You were still linking your arm with his. Izana's face scrunched with irritation, aggravated by their rude interruption. You knew Izana was involved in gang activities but you had never found out that he was the leader of his own gang.
"What the fuck are you guys doing here?!" Izana yelled at his exeuctives. His roaring voice sent shivers down to their spine. He untangled his arm from your hold, dangerously walking toward the other elite delinquents of his gang. Shion was on the verge of tears, fearing for his life and safety.
"S-Shit, run! RUN! FUCKING RUN!!" Shion, being the most coward among all of them, made a run from Izana's wrath. Izana ignored the others as they were already frozen on their spots so he began chasing after Shion, catching up with his speed easily.
"Wait, you fucker! I'm gonna fucking kill you for interrupting my date!!"
The small chaos somehow turned into a big calamity as Shion, Kakucho, Ran, Rindou, Muto and Kanji now needed to face Izana's rage.
While you just stood there all confused but enjoyed the evening drama nonetheless.

“CHEER UP” he will do anything to put a smile on your face

╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ oneshot

࿐*ೃ feat : ryusei shidou
࿐*ೃ fandom : blue lock
࿐*ೃ extra : gn! reader, fluff, soft!ryusei

╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ A BOUQUET of (f/flower) and a box of special chocolates. Ryusei was carrying them while he skipped his way to your house. He already imagined your reaction to the gifts. Especially the special chocolate for tonight. He knew you would be as exhilarated as him.
The tanned man went all the way out to dress himself fancily today. His hair was not styled in the usual away, left in natural form as he remembered how much you drooled over him with his hair down before. Pitch black compress shirt hugging his muscular physique. He had never worn like this before but apparently, according to some of your secret spicy notes he accidentally read before, anyone of any gender wearing this kind of clothing immediately made you drop down on your knees.
He wondered how would you react after seeing him.
Standing outside your entrance door, Ryusei proceeded to ring the doorbell. He waited for a good minute yet no one answered the door. Confused, he rang the doorbell for the second time. Disappointingly, nobody welcomed him in.
'Entering without their permission doesn't mean I'm breaking in. I'm just surprising them!' The soccer player thought optimistically. Unlocking the gate of the property, Ryusei casually turned the doorknob of your house. Unexpectedly, the door was unlocked. Now, he, being the caring yet obsessive boyfriend he was, felt his heart dropped.
'Did something happen to my love..?' His face darkened with murderous intent at the thought of someone harming you. Ryusei placed the bouquet and chocolates box on the kitchen counter, silently making his way upstairs to your room. You were staying home alone due to your parents travelling for work.
Now standing outside your room, Ryusei pushed open the door wider. To his relief, he saw you lying on your bed, unaware of his presence. Sobbing filled the dark room and his worry for you worsened. "(Y/n)?" He called you out softly. Shocked to hear another voice besides yours, you removed the comforter concealing your figure.
"Ryu...?" you spoke up with croaked voice. Ryusei hurried to your side and sat down on your bed. "Love, what's wrong?" He asked, gripping your shoulders. You wiped away the tears that seemed to trickle down your face continuously. His smile faltered, his eyes filled with worry never averting from your face.
Not wanting to force an answer out of you, Ryusei pulled you into a hug and rubbed small circles on your back. "There, there... I'm here for you now. Cry your heart out, alright?" He whispered into your ear. Something inside you snapped and you hugged him tightly. Your cries became louder and you wailed from the top of your lungs in the arms of your beloved boyfriend. Your shaking hands clutched the back of his black compress shirt.
Ryusei no longer felt horny like he did earlier since he just witnessed you bawling your eyes out.
'Must be one of their episodes.. It isn't a new thing to see them suddenly crying their heart out when they are alone. I should do something to cheer my love up.' Ryusei schemed a perfect plan in his head.
Ryusei broke apart from you, and then took your hands in his. You confusedly blinked your teary eyes at him. Before you knew it, you were dragged out of the bedroom to downstairs.
"R-Ryu, where are we going?"
"Somewhere fun, where sadness can't have its way with you!"
"But I'm...ugly..." You admitted, pointing out the fact you weren't as well-dressed as him right now.
"You look hella fine already, love!"
Ryusei exclaimed excitedly, making his way out of the house with you. You didn't feel like leaving the house but knowing your boyfriend, he would prohibit you being alone right now. You had no way of defying him and his enthusiasm.
After a while, you and Ryusei arrived at the Shinkansen station. You silently sat next to him while the tanned man hummed a song that sounded way too familiar for you.
Ryusei saw the tears glistening in your eyes and knew you needed comfort. With a tender gesture, he offered you one of his earphones, his fingers brushing softly with yours as you accepted.
As you and Ryusei leaned in close, the music weaved a delicate tapestry of memories, each note stirring emotions long buried. With every chord, you were transported back to moments of laughter and tenderness, ones that you shared with your only love, Ryusei. When you shifted your gaze to him, his eyes shut close as his smile decorated his handsome face.
Your heart was swelling with warmth and affection. You hooked your arms with his, holding him for dear life. A few globs of tears rolled down your face, touched by his kindness.
Several moments passed, the Shinkansen arrived at the destination. Ryusei eagerly engulfed your hand in his, then stormed out of the train.
"Ryu, slow down! I can't run as fast as you!"
"Then!"
Ryusei swiftly picked you up bridal style mid-running, then continued sprinting his way as if your weight amounted to nothingness to him. You freaked out, frightened by the speed he was running at.
"Ryu! Maybe we should ride the cab!"
"It's not that far from train station! I can manage! Plus, this is more romantic!"
"Everyone is watching-"
"Who cares! They are just jealous of us!"
Ryusei remained stubborn, refusing to listen to your suggestion. You wrapped your arms around his neck, shutting your eyes close. You could feel the wind brushing against your skin.
Once you felt as if the world had stopped turning, you parted your eyes open back. Ryusei put you down, breathing raggedly. In the end, he used out all his stamina to reach this place, the place he had been dying to show to you.
'I plan to bring them here on their birthday but..early birthday present doesn't sound so bad.' He grinned, awaiting your reaction.
You were in awe.
Your eyes widened in wonder as you beheld the scene before you. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves overhead, sending ripples dancing across the surface of the pristine lake. The water glimmered like a mirror, reflecting the lush greenery that enveloped its shores. Birds chirped melodiously in the background, adding to the symphony of nature.
"There's such place in the middle of the city..?" You exclaimed in disbelief.
Your gasp echoed in the tranquil air as you turned to your boyfriend. His eyes sparkled with anticipation as he watched you, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
"Fucking amazing, right? Found it by chance that one time a cab driver dumped me here since I got no money to pay. I know you abso-fucking-lutely love nature-- second to me of course."
With each step toward the lake, you felt the weight of sadness lift from your shoulders, replaced by a profound sense of serenity. As you gazed at your reflection shimmering in the crystalline waters, a wave of tranquility washed over you. The beauty of the scene seemed to seep into your soul, dispelling the clouds of doubt and worry that had plagued you earlier.
Ryusei walked beside you. Tears welled in your eyes once more, but they were no longer borne of sorrow-- it was of overwhelming joy and gratitude. You surged forward and hugged him, sobbing in his arms softly.
"Thanks... I really love this place. Thank you, Ryu."
"Anything for you, my love♡"
Ryusei kissed the top of your head, grinning from ear-to-ear. He was always the happiest man on earth when he saw you smiling and happy. You chuckled, burying your face in his toned chest.
Untangling yourself from Ryusei, your gaze fixed on his clothes. Heat spread across your cheeks upon noticing the sleeveless compress shirt he was wearing, showing perfect curves and muscles of his physique. His grin widened before he encircled your waist in his arms.
"You love it? I wear this only for you, baby."
"You are so gorgeous wearing that.."
Cupping his cheeks, you praised Ryusei from the bottom of your heart. Delighted, he smashed his lips against yours, his tongue dancing in your mouth.
"I'm glad. Now...how about we sit down and enjoy the scenery? Take all the time you need to stay here."
"Okay!"
Feeling energetic again, you grabbed his hand and led Ryusei to a bench nearby. Without you knowing, a smirk curved on the man's lips as a naughty idea struck him.
'Now we can recreate that spicy scene we saw in that one movie. Surrounded by nature, their favourite thing, and doing my favourite thing at the same time. A win-win for us surely♡'
He couldn't wait to show you his next spontaneous surprise.

“KICK AND CRUSHES” when childish rivalry took an unexpected turn

╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ oneshot

࿐*ೃ feat : hyoma chigiri
࿐*ೃ fandom : blue lock
࿐*ೃ extra : fem! reader, fluff

╰┈➤: ̗̀➛ YOU can't believe it. Of all the people in the world to be stuck with, it had to be him-Hyoma Chigiri. The same Hyoma who kicked a soccer ball into your face back in elementary school. The same Hyoma who became your sworn enemy from that day forward. And now? The same Hyoma who you have to share a dorm room with.
It's like the universe is playing some cruel joke.
You stand there at the check-in counter of the boarding school dormitory, holding your key in one hand and your glaring stare in the other. Hyoma stands beside you, slouched against his suitcase, looking equally annoyed.
"This has to be some kind of mistake," you mutter, shaking your head.
"No mistake," Hyoma drawls lazily, peeking at the key in his hand. "We're roommates."
"Roommates? With you? Oh, hell nah," you snap back, eyes narrowing at him.
Hyoma gives a half-hearted shrug, as if your hatred for him is just another Tuesday. "Look, Y/N, I ain't thrilled about this either. I rather stay in isolation room at jail than looking at your face first thing in the morning everytime I wake up."
The dorm receptionist looks between the two of you, already exhausted by the exchange. "I assure you, the system doesn't make mistakes. Room 204 is yours. Enjoy your stay."
Enjoy. Ha. You laugh internally at the absurdity of that word. This is going to be anything but enjoyable.

You throw your bags onto the bed closest to the window, claiming it as your own. The space is small, just two beds crammed into a room with barely enough space for the both of you to coexist. But you're not about to lose round one to Hyoma. Not today.
"Seriously, how the heck did happen?" you grumble, unpacking your things with unnecessarily aggressive energy. "Stupid system. Did they think this guy is a chick like me? At least I ain't in danger.." you mumble to yourself while unpacking.
Hyoma, lounging on his bed with the grace of someone who doesn't care about anything, just smirks. "Luck, I guess."
"More like bad luck," you mutter, shoving your clothes into the drawer. "And this is your fault, anyway."
"My fault?" Hyoma raises an eyebrow. "What part of the room assignment process involves me? I'm a student like you, idiot!"
You glare at him. "I'm talking about elementary school! You still owe me for kicking that ball straight into my face!"
He blinks, tilting his head in mock confusion. "You're still mad about that? For real? Y/N, it has been like, five, six years."
"I was embarrassed at school because of you! I had to walk around with a black eye for a week!"
Hyoma snorts, clearly amused by your indignation. "At least you have a reason to cosplay as pirate at school everyday."
"Pirates have eye patches, not black eyes, dumbass!"
He stretches his arms behind his head, his smirk growing wider. "Same difference."
Oh, he thinks this is funny. You'll show him funny.

It doesn't take long before the petty revenge starts. Every little thing Hyoma does, you counter with your own passive-aggressive response. He leaves the light on while you're trying to sleep? Fine. You blast loud music while he's trying to study. He eats your snacks from the mini-fridge? You hide his shoes under the bed where he'll never find them. It's a cycle of back-and-forth, an unspoken war between two people who refuse to back down.
One evening, after a particularly long day of classes, you walk into the dorm room and find Hyoma sitting at the desk, casually munching on your favorite bag of chips.
"Oh, you did not," you hiss, stomping over to him.
He looks up, feigning innocence. "What? They were just sitting there."
You snatch the bag out of his hands, glaring daggers at him. "Do you have no respect for other people's property?"
"Do you have no respect for a man's hunger?" he retorts.
"That's it!" you declare, grabbing the nearest thing you can find-a half-eaten sandwich from your bag-and chuck it at him.
Hyoma dodges, but the sandwich still smacks him in the shoulder. "I JUST WASH THIS- OH, screw it. It's war now."
Before you know it, the two of you are throwing food at each other like children. The room quickly turns into a battlefield of sandwiches, chips, and whatever else you can find. You're both shouting insults, laughing in between, completely lost in the absurdity of it all.
"Your aim suck!" you yell, flinging a piece of bread at his head.
"You run like a chicken in heat!" he fires back, tossing a slice of cheese in your direction.
You're both breathless, still hurling insults when suddenly, you collapse on the floor, completely exhausted. Hyoma does the same, falling next to you as the food war comes to a truce. You're both lying on your backs, staring up at the ceiling in silence, catching your breath.
The silence stretches for a while before you finally speak, your voice quieter this time. "We've been acting like idiots, haven't we?"
Hyoma lets out a small chuckle. "Yeah, pretty much."
You turn your head slightly to look at him. His face is flushed from all the exertion, and you can't help but laugh. "All this over a soccer ball."
You laugh, the sound light and easy for once. It's the first time in a long while that you're not annoyed with him, not plotting your next move to get under his skin. You're just... here. And surprisingly, it feels kind of nice.
"I guess we were both being petty," you admit, staring back up at the ceiling.
Hyoma hums in agreement. "Yeah. Kind of pointless, when you think about it."
You fall into a comfortable silence again, both of you too tired to continue the usual banter. The room feels different now, like a shift has happened between you. It's subtle, but it's there.
Then Hyoma speaks, his voice softer than you've ever heard it. "Actually, Y/N, there's something I've been meaning to tell you."
You turn your head toward him, curious. "What?"
He hesitates for a moment, his eyes flicking up to the ceiling as if he's trying to find the right words. Then, with a deep breath, he says it.
"I used to have a crush on you when we were kids."
The words hang in the air like a bomb, and you feel your heart stop for a second. He DID NOT just drop that out of nowhere!
What? A crush? On you?
You sit up quickly, staring at him like he's grown two heads. "W-What the hell did you just say?"
Hyoma props himself up on his elbows, giving you a sheepish grin. "I had a crush on you. Back in elementary school. Before, you know, I accidentally kicked that ball into your face."
You blink, your brain struggling to process this new information. "You are tripping." you were yet to believe him. You thought he was still attempting to take petty revenges at you by playing with your feelings.
He shakes his head, chuckling softly. "Nope, this is real. I thought you were cute. But then, well..the whole soccer ball thing happened, and, uh, things kind of spiraled from there. You avoided me and hated on me. It made me sad, to be honest."
You can't believe what you're hearing. All this time, you've been holding onto that grudge, and Hyoma... liked you? Your face turns red, and you quickly look away, your heart racing for reasons you don't quite understand.
"Well," you mumble, trying to compose yourself, "you've got a weird way of showing affection."
He laughs, the sound light and genuine. "Yeah, I guess I do."
There's a strange, fluttery feeling in your chest now, and you're not sure if it's because of the exhaustion from the food fight or because of what Hyoma just said. Either way, you find yourself suddenly very aware of how close he's sitting to you.
You glance at him out of the corner of your eye, and for the first time, you don't feel the usual urge to throw something at him. Instead, you feel... something else. Something confusing. Something that makes your face heat up even more.
Hyoma must notice the change in your demeanor because his teasing smirk softens into something more sincere. "You okay?"
You nod, a little too quickly. "Y-Yeah. Just... I never expected that."
He chuckles again, lying back down on the floor. "Yeah, I figured."
You stay sitting for a moment longer, your mind racing with thoughts you never expected to have about Hyoma. The same Hyoma who annoyed you, who stole your snacks, who kicked a soccer ball into your face. And yet, as you look at him now, lying there with that soft smile on his face, you realize that maybe, just maybe, you don't hate him as much as you thought you did.
Maybe you never really hated him at all.

The next few days are... different. There's still banter, still teasing, but the animosity between you and Hyoma seems to have melted away. You no longer feel the urge to plot revenge, and he doesn't go out of his way to annoy you as much anymore. It's strange, but also kind of nice.
And every now and then, when you catch him looking at you with that small, soft smile, your heart does that weird fluttery thing again.
Maybe this whole roommate situation isn't so bad after all.
